And this is why it pays to not get too excited after beating a dysfunctional team like the Rockets.

FAT clown Sully
no exuses for this bsht game
its 6AM here
thnx my dear team
Sully played great, not sure what you're watching.
GREAT means play GREAT till the end
he lost the game with that loosy layup against zaza
then stupid three
then missed after GREAT KO's pass

i like Sully a lot
but his play in the last 2 mins cost us win

The whole team cost us the game, it's not just on Sully

Ditto. I think Boston's 41% shooting over the course of the game, and Dallas's 51% shooting, were at least as significant as any last-minute miss from Sully or IT. People tend to look at the last couple minutes of a game, but there are always a lot of plays that led up to those last two minutes.

Smart was awful. He needs to figure out his offensive game sooner than later. Glad Brad yanked him for Bradley when it became too much. The OKC game just makes it more irritating...

People aren't going to convince me that that was a good idea by IT4 though, even if he does score, it gives mavs about 12 more seconds to win it and they were shooting 51%.Get a good shot and we have a chance to tie or a dagger 3. I wanted IT4 to get the last shot but a set 1.

maybe CBS should have called a play during the Dallas free throws.

This game hurt in particular because we lost a chance at a perfect basketball day.

Perfect basketball day is when the Celtics win, and both Dallas and Brooklyn lose. And if the Lakers lose too that is a perfect basketball day with cherry on top.

lakers losing would be a cherry on top in other seasons, this is the one when you want them to win enough to get 4th or worse.

People need to remember the Celtics stopped playing aggressive defense because of the refs. It changed the way they played in the second half.

Also, the Celtics always have trouble when Tony Brothers is the ref. I can't stand that guy.

Celtics are always presumably going to have periods where they cant really score because of the fact they dont have a go-to star, and we all know that. Doesn't help when you play a guy like Marcus Smart that most of the time cant buy a field goal. How can you play him over AB (who was having a great game) IT or even Evan Turner and Rj Hunter when your team is struggling to get points? I mean, the guy scored 2 points tonight, and they came in the second minute of the game. People talk about Tony Allen, and how he sucks as an offensive player. Well, at least he can give you 6 points a night and wont hesitate to get to the rim. In Brad's defense, Im pretty sure Danny wants him to play Smart the most he can

Aslo took 92fga vs 72.

Team still needs another consistent versatile scorer.   Our guards & wings (not IT) are limited to jumpshots.

Easy to blame the refs (who sucked), but this was a smart old team beating a young team who got too high off their early game success. Mavs are better than I thought due to Matthews' surprisingly quick recovery from the Achilles injury, but its a long season and while they're not going to end up in the bottom 10 barring a Dirk injury, we'll end up with a mid-first.

Mavs would have been nails with  DeAndre Jordan.

Why didn't Jerebko play tonight?
