"DeMarcus Cousins is beasting. Over his last three games, Cousins is averaging 36.3 points and 10.7 rebounds a game, while shooting 51.4 percent. He dropped 36 and 10 on Toronto and they had no answer — Cousins was central to a win the Kings needed before a five-game road trip opens."

Watch the Raptors video, and you can see how dominant Boogie or Big Cous is. Stretching the defense with ball fakes, blowing by bigs, shooting the 3, and playing stellar defense, what more can you say?

People seriously don't want to get this guy on our team?

It was fun to see Cousins push around Valanciunas and Scola last night.

A man among boys.

Yup, especially with the block against Lowry towards the end when he thought he had an easy 2.

Are you saying we're not going to be able to trade Sullinger and a pair of 2nd rounders for him?

Kings have three legit stars and a decent roster now.  They are starting to play unselfish ball.  I think they might make a little noise in the west this year...they seem to have worked through differences, and I think they should give it a ride with their present roster and see what happens.  Cousins seems to enjoy playing with Rondo, and Coach seems happy, too.

Here's hoping that the Kings get sick and tired of Cousins, and trades him to the Celtics.

IF, He can play like this on a dysfunctional team.   Would be interesting to,see what the Celtics could do with him.

That owner is MORE hung up on Cousins than the Owner of Orlando was with Howard .  He will never  ever willingly let Cousins go.   He ll fire 50 more coaches and 10 GMs .

Cousins will have to be like Howard and Aldridge. ........just make up his mind leave for another team regardless of,the NBA s extra money they can pay to get him to stay.

I just saw this on another site:

DMC: 44.8% 3P%

Curry: 45.2% 3P%

Now, sample size and volume are different, but who expected DMC to become an elite three-point shooter?  Cousin is shooting nearly 4 3-pointers per game, making his outside shot a legitimate weapon.

Even more impressively, he dominated Andre Drummond when they matched up head to head. TMC has been remarkable.

And, sorry for the third post in a row, but why on earth isn't there a nationally televised game between Cousins and Anthony Davis? That is the best big man match up the NBA has had in years.

He looks smooth shooting them, too. I find his handle and agility even more impressive. He's pump faking guys at the three point line and driving into the lane finishing with either hand on either side of the basket. For a 6'11" guy that weighs 275, that's impressive, and I don't know how you stop him.

He's basically becoming a hybrid of Shaq and Dirk - that's scary.  I'm not even exaggerating when I say that he has the potential to be the best player in the NBA if he keeps going at this rate.

I mean really - he's elite on offense and on defense (just check last years Defensive RPM - was among the top 5 or 6 in the NBA), he's an elite rebounder, he's one of the best passing bigs in the NBA, he can handle the ball, he's a dominant scorer in the post and in the P&R, he can hit the midrange jumper...and now he's shooting over 40% from three.

I don't think there has ever been a player in NBA history who has been able to make all of those claims.  Hakeem is probably the closest, but even he was never a real threat from three.

The scariest part is his putting him his numbers in only 32 MPG!  Per 36 he's averaging 31.6 points, 12.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists.

The only stat you can really criticise this year is his FG% (44%) but even that is hard to criticise when he's making two threes (@ 44%) and 8.4 Free Throws (@ 76%) per night.  His scoring efficiency (Points Per FGA) is still a ridiculous 1.4, which is elite.

I would also like to point out that the Kings are 4-3 in games that Cousins has played (total margin of +5) and 0-4 in games that he hasn't played (total margin of -50).  Just a little fun fact for all those people out there who insist that Cousins doesn't impact his teams wins.

I think Rondo has helped Cousins in that he doesn't have to play Point-center anymore, but at the same time you can't credit Rondo for his sudden splurge in three point shooting.  Extending his shooting range is something only Cousins could achieve, not something anybody else could make happen for him.

He's improved so far every season in the league, so seeing him step up another aspect of his game really isn't a big surprise.

Still I do think Rondo has helped that team, since they have plenty of shooters / scorers which is basically the type of scenario where a guy like Rondo excels.

Still, can't hide the fact that the Kings are 0-4 when Cousins is out, even though Rondo was playing pretty well in that stretch.  No question how much impact Cousins has on that team.  The way they have played since his return, they are looking like a Playoff team.
