Anybody know much about this prospect. From the scouting video he looks likes a cross between Parson and Hayward.

I just looked him up after you posted this.  He's from Wrentham, MA.  It's always fun to root for the local kids.

I came across this article about him which is pretty in depth.

http://www.idahostatesman.com/sports/college/mens-basketball/article44679030.html

He played out of position last year at power forward and is back at small forward this year.  The article mentions he has gained 20 pounds since last season.  He's projected as a late first or early second, but he his a senior so he may fall.  With so many second round picks, we might as well keep an eye on him.

He reminds me of a slower Jeff Green.

They have similar strengths and weaknesses.

Layman is a better shooter at the same age

Its Jake, not Jack.  I used to coach against him twice a year when he was at King Phillip High.  Great shooter, very consistent, can play different spots.
2019 historical draft.  Pick 12

Tim Duncan, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Scottie Pippen, Willis Reed, Mitch Richmond, Sam Jones, Dan Majerle, Bob Cousy, Rasheed Wallace, Shawn Kemp, Marcus Camby

Layman's a late 2nd-round / summer camp invitee type of prospect. Good shooter, probably needs to keep developing his secondary skills overseas for a couple of years.  I love a couple miles from College Park, so I hope to catch a game or two of his (and the rest of that great Maryland team) this season.  If I do, I'll post here.
