Bosh I could see, maybe, if Miami struggles and they feel like they should try to get something for him while they can.

Love ... nope.  Don't see it.  I don't see Indiana trading George, either.  Just doesn't make sense.

Cousins ... seems like the Kings could be headed for a trade at some point, but I feel like they'll wait until they've got their new arena built.  Sometime next year, or the following summer, is when I'd expect Cousins to get traded.

I like Bosh a lot, but he's a pretty clear cut #2, especially at this point in his career.  So I wouldn't want the Celts to pursue a trade for him unless they already had an alpha dog in place.

Absolutely not crazy, our defense is already good. What we're missing is a scorer and PG13 is one heck of a scorer.

So IT isn't a star. Oh well.

Dream scenario, add Cousins with either George or Bosh.

I'm also a big Chris Bosh fan after Paul Pierce...and that would be enlightening if he comes to Boston!  ;D

If those are the stars most likely to be traded, then my takeaway is it's going to be a very quiet deadline.

Fortunately, it's completely wrong. There are several stars who would be far more likely traded. Aside from Cousins, I think Brook Lopez, Carmelo Anthony, and Nikola Pekovic are much more likely to be traded than any of these players.

Yeah, I disagree with your characterization of Lopez and Pekovic as stars -- injury concerns, at the very least, prevent that -- but I'd agree that Melo seems like the most likely to get dealt.

If George is getting moved he has to end up a Celtic.  I don't see Indy trading him but he's the guy you give up Brooklyn's pick for.  He is exactly what the Celtics are lacking and would make them contenders immediately.

Under-reported aspect of Melo trade rumors - he stands to gain a lot more financially if he waits for his 2016/2017 salary to kick in to okay a trade, at which point his trade kicker will generate a much bigger payoff.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

you're not, George is top 10 player when healthy, and this season he is slowly regaining that form.

That's a great point.
