Bucks poster on Realgm in response to someone who said we have no stars or future other than the draft picks...

"Wait, what? No real future other than those three high lottery picks they'll be getting the next three years? I wish we had their **** future."

Go DA lol

Like what I've seen from Hunter.  Fits well in the offense.

It looks like Stevens is using David Lee as a center, basically.  Means Zeller is more or less out of the rotation.

Bummer.  I'd rather give the minutes to the guy who might be here next season, even if he struggles at first.  This is why I was never keen on acquiring Lee.

Zeller expires this year, not entirely convinced that we will be back.

Probably depends on whether anybody else becomes available. But if it's true that we just guaranteed the second year on Johnson, and if Sully and Olynyk keep playing as they have been, then wouldn't surprise me if Zeller doesn't return.

We seem to be heading toward Zeller leaving for nothing.

I think that's a shame, because Zeller showed last season he can be a consistent and reliable contributor as a 20 mpg center in an up-tempo system that allows him to run the floor and gives him plenty of space.

That kind of guy has value in the league.  It's not easy to find competent offensive players at that position who can play solid if unremarkable defense.

Lee is just a one year rental.  Zeller could be a reliable part of the rotation for the foreseeable future.

I thought Zeller was really good when Rondo was around.

The Bucks look soft, whiny, and inexperienced.

They look like they have a really crappy bench, and are in need of more shooting and shot creation in their backcourt.

They're a lot like the Jazz, only they don't have the elite interior defense of the Jazz.

Giannis, Jabari, and Monroe is a great starting point, though.  They're gonna be really good sooner rather than later.

stupid play by Turner. He could have easily passed the ball rather than dribbling it in the backcourt against Bayless

I thought Zeller was really good when Rondo was around.

He was really good in the second half of last year, two.  Plenty of really good games after Rondo was gone.

He just needs space to operate.

Bill Sy had a really good article on the front page describing how Zeller was struggling due to poor spacing with the other bigs on the floor (most notably Lee).

Me too.  It's uncanny seeing a guy with his height and length move and finish the way he does.

Has zeller seen the floor tonight?

no zeller or rozier tonight.

Would have thought we'd see Roz with AB AND Smart out. ET and IT getting a ton of minutes tonight and IT's not having a great one.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier
