ugh Monroe would have been such a great pickup...

Got to get the young talent in place before free agents will have us at the top of their list.

We were reportedly on his short list of destinations. I'm not sure if we made a hard push for him or not. We seemed content resisting B-list stars in order to get A-list stars over the next few years.

Yes .....I think you nailed it with that last statement.......TP .......Danny wants to pick his battles using his assets . Monroe is good ....but he an't taking a team to a title......he is a second banana.

I love the penguin slide there by Jerebko after the shot.

Wow, RJ coming in early. I guess we need the length?

We just went from the good Kelly to the bad Kelly.  He should have taken the three right away.
Yep but he seems more ready this year. I feel like this could be a breakout year for him.

I love Jerebko + Olynyk in 2nd unit. Provide so much extra offense for team.

Agreed. Plus they can enter as 3-4 or 4-5 as needed.

We should win the game based solely on the fact that we're tied after the first quarter.... Truly a testament to our bench quality.

Yeah, but Monroe IS a "banana."  Need to get one of those before other "bananas" will be interested in coming here.  That's the point.

I don't buy that the Celts weren't interested.  Reports were that they liked Monroe and were going to pursue him.  I believe Jackie Mac said as much.  But Monroe interviewed with other teams before considering the Celts.

KO with the Dirk fade is so gorgeous.

He needs to shoot it 5 times a game.

TP ..... :)

I'm thinking a "Start JJ" movement will be happening soon. He provides some extra shooting, offense, size and length over Crowder.
