Do we practice boxing out?

It feels like we're down by 30... so not sure how we're this close lol.

That's how its been for a year now.  I don't know how we went on that 2nd half run, but every game felt like that even though we were like 22-9 down the stretch

IT in the doghouse, or is Milwaukee just too big and long to justify playing him?

It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

ugh Monroe would have been such a great pickup...

Got to get the young talent in place before free agents will have us at the top of their list.

We were reportedly on his short list of destinations. I'm not sure if we made a hard push for him or not. We seemed content resisting B-list stars in order to get A-list stars over the next few years.

Yes .....I think you nailed it with that last statement.......TP .......Danny wants to pick his battles using his assets . Monroe is good ....but he an't taking a team to a title......he is a second banana.

Yeah, but Monroe IS a "banana."  Need to get one of those before other "bananas" will be interested in coming here.  That's the point.

I don't buy that the Celts weren't interested.  Reports were that they liked Monroe and were going to pursue him.  I believe Jackie Mac said as much.  But Monroe interviewed with other teams before considering the Celts.

I see it completely different. I don't think the Celtics were interested, I thought it was a big mistake from Ainge.

I'm sure we would've been in the running for him if we made the push. We had the type of team Monroe would be interested in, a good city to boot, and Ainge has a very good relationship with his Agent as it is. So that there wasn't any apparent push from our side at any point early in Free-Agency leads me to the credence, like some have theorized, that Ainge wasn't all that interested in his price tag from the get go.

It'll take actual evidence to make me believe otherwise, which is why I put the full blame on this on Ainge's lack of interest which was a mistake in my opinion.

RJ Hunter is exactly the kind of player we never draft, but I always wish we did.  I really like that kid

Kelly's D is painful to watch. As always  :'(

I think the degree to which it's painful to watch goes well beyond how bad it actually is, though.

meaning?

Lee's juggernaut defense has entered the game, let's sit back and relax for a bit. Hope Amir composes himself, he was playing with butter hands.

We just went from the good Kelly to the bad Kelly.  He should have taken the three right away.
Yep but he seems more ready this year. I feel like this could be a breakout year for him.

Completely agree. I was a pretty vocal KO hater prior to this preseason, but he's been much more confident and is starting to look like a really dynamic offensive player.

Edit: I've been pleasantly surprised with his defense also.

I just want to see him look locked in and ready to assume a prominent offensive role for like 20+ games and then I'll believe he's taken another step.  He's always had flashes, but he seems to have the makeup of a supporting player who comes off the bench and just does what the team needs.  That's a really nice asset to have, by the way, but it limits his value.

Oh, absolutely we need a larger sample size, but I'm very encouraged so far.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I think it's just a bad matchup for him.  Should play him as much as possible against their bench guys.  We could really use Smart in this game.

Way too many turnovers this season.
