Based on what I have seen this year I think it should be

Amir
Sully
Crowder
Smart
IT or Bradley...either works for me ( i just like the Amir IT pairing and I feel Amir needs to start)

I actually like those starters but it has the same issue we already have: lack of scoring. Then again I'd rather not have guys like IT, KO, Hunter starting either.

I also agree that Turner and Sully need to go. Not for a lack of talent or recent output but because they jam spots that other players can earn more playing time.

The problem with trading them is what we get in return. They are both technically expiring contracts so getting one back is breaking even. Do we need more picks? What lower tier/ average player could be get in return that's not making too much?
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Starting Rozier - AB - Smart is just asking to get destroyed by size on the wing.

Can you imagine sending that group out there against Lowry, Derozan, and Carroll?  Or against Danny Green and Kawhi?

Gosh, hasn't it been bad enough when we're starting Smart, AB, and Crowder?

I'd like to see Jerebko get a chance to start alongside Amir.  Sullinger probably deserves a chance in a starting spot, given how well he's played so far and how badly Lee and Zeller have struggled.

You got Amir and Mickey to protect the rim.  All of our backcourt guys just have to play strong D.  All of them have above average wingspan. It really helps

And when you go the other way around , opponents may have issues keeping up with them on the run.

ITs not like CBS doesn't do this anyways in the tail end of the game. What is the difference between doing it at that time and starting of the game? Just try it for both

breaking even for Sully , Turner and Lee would be amazing.   For all three if we can get back a 1st and a 2nd, that is good enough for me

But I know Danny rather use these three guys plus multiple 1sts to try to get a very good player instead.    I don't know if this will ever be possible anyways

I don't think playing three guards against fully rested starters, especially against teams with big, long, athletic wings, is any kind of recipe for success.

I also don't think Mickey is ready to play a significant role in the rotation, let alone start.  There are already too many big men in the rotation.

Mickey and Young have been inactive and Hunter hasn't sniffed minutes. Know why? They aren't good enough or ready enough yet. This need of yours to want to have young kids play who aren't franchise changing players is obsessive.

The starters have struggled but its only been three games. The top 11 on this team are vets that will get into a groove eventually. How about we just give the rotation some time to work itself out. I don't see a need to suddenly give up on the season and trade all the vets to play rookies that aren't ready for NBA basketball yet.

I like that lineup a lot. Loads of quickness relative to each position. Lots of defense. Good rebounding. Multiple ball-handlers. Solid floor spacing. Every one can shoot the ball. Great transition team (both ways).

I don't think it should be a starting lineup. I think that is going too far. But it is a lineup I would like to see out on the floor at some point this season and certainly next season.

I'd love to see Isaiah Thomas get traded to open up some minutes for Rozier. I know it will not happen but I would love to see it happen. I think Rozier offers the team more term with his two-way talent and is a better fit under the Celtics mentality identity than I.Thomas with his selfish offensive game & abysmal defense.

No.  Because this team has had enough time to gel since last season.  The issue has to do with starting Lee and Crowder.  These guys are not starting material

Mickey is an explosive pf that is ready to play.  He has not shown a reason why he shouldn't . Why don't you look back since SL and see what he has done.  For Preseason games in 8 mins scoring 10 points , 12 points, block shots, teams hesitating to drive in anytime he is on the court etc.  is lotto pick type of productions.  If he was messing up like Melo did , I would not be advocating for him to play. This team needs upfront defense in the worse possible way.   You don't even have to be a great coach to instruct, "go to the paint and abuse their not so good defense PF/C".    Don't press on Crowder so much and let him beat you on offense.

You won't know how good Mickey is until he is given a chance.  Remember this topic once Mickey gets a chance. Its crazy how I have to keep on defending this guy .

IT is selfish BUT for a guy coming off the bench , it is nice to have a guy like that.   Against the Spurs we would of got demolished if IT didn't score like 8-10 points in a span of 3 mins.

It's not like Rozier is anymore unselfish.  He can be just like IT and we have all seen it.

I think having Rozier start and IT come off the bench, will press on the opposing team and exhaust them .  Just to pgs that can drive in at will/create shots. Then you can start throwing passes to guys like AB, KO, Hunter for open looks.

The thing I don't like the most right now is, teams are instructed to drive in at will where guys like Lee, KO, Sully and even to a certain extent Zeller can't do much to alter shot/block shots.

We could use the strengths of each guy below.  Give them a few mins. If they get rocked, then fine.  But I doubt that will happen.  All three have shown that they can play and help the team right now.

Danny Ainge and Brad Stevens have decided he isn't good enough or ready enough to break this rotation. Mickey will be in Maine almost all season.

I don't have to go back to useless basketball times like SL and preseason to see what Mickey can do. I saw him. He looked okay but nowhere near ready for NBA minutes on a team that is trying to make the playoffs. And his bosses have decided the same thing I did.

You need to get over your fascination with this kid and start to comprehend he isn't playing this year. Zeller, Lee, Olynyk, Sullinger, Johnson and Jerebko are all in front of him on the depth chart. He's this year's James Young, an NBADL All-star who belongs to the Celtics.

Wait... When did they do that? They haven't played one minute of actual NBA basketball.

Smart
Bradley
Crowder
Sully/KO
Amir

Sully has really fought hard to earn playing time and his size has actually been helpful against bruising bigs, like Okafor, but KO might be a better fit with this lineup. And I love Crowder, but we desperately need scoring on the wing; we either need a trade or one of Young or Hunter to be a diamond in the rough.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.
