Neither one shot well last night.
I personally thought Smart should've attacked more and made plays, where I think his game has improved the most (I think his passing is way better than last year, so far).
I think this game was oddly encouraging... I guess? I mean there is another thread and people are talking about us just not shooting well, but I thought a lot of guys like Smart didn't really get into offensive sets on top of not shooting well either. I didn't see enough pick and roll sets being run well, for example. I felt like the Raptors really got us out of our game (refs too) but we were still pretty close so that was not the worst thing to see.
Also, the Raptors are good.
I'm fine with both of them starting too. I think though the bigs need to be switched up. I liked Kelly's game because he was aggressive even if his shot wasn't falling. Sully has been good. I am feeling like we should be going Kelly and Sully as starters some point soon to give scoring and rebounding (and Kelly's spacing can allow others to get to the rim). I get that we are a deep team and in theory we can't oveerreact if we "lose" a starting line up match up (because our bench can go on a run) but man, I think the start of the game matters more than that and you can't just play the stat game. Zeller and Lee have both been bad. I am a bit worried the Lee move was a mistake and he will just clog up minutes for the rest of our bigs.
