Amir.  Too many good young guards that will take (and deservedly so) minutes from Young as he hasn't earned them yet and requires more seasoning. I'm not counting him out, I'm just not counting him in, just yet.

Thank you for cleaning up the thread with that poll. I think Amir can cover that spread especially if James Young does stay out of the rotation. I am James Young fan so I hope im wrong but if that inactive tonight is any indication lol

I think Young will get a chance to crack the rotation at some point this season, but Amir will be a mainstay.

Oooh, that's a toughie.

I'm going with Young. In 332 minutes last year Young put up 66 3 pointers. His make percentage was abysmal, but he's too good of a shooter for that to continue to happen. Interestingly enough, Amir's max in a season is also 66 (in 2,200 minutes). I know he's more likely to put them up at a greater rate in Brad's system, but I don't think it will be substantial. I expect him to get paired with KO, who will be Mr. Outside to Amir's Mr. Inside. 

I kind of figure that Amir will only play about 2,000 minutes while Young's playing time may increase to 500 or so minutes. I think Young will play some this year. If that'st he case, Young will fire up more attempts and probably more through the hoop.

I mean you didn't specify where. Young will probably make a lot of 3s in Maine 

But in all honestly Amir simply because he's an integral part of the rotation and is being encouraged to shoot them.

Update! Midway through the season James Young has made 4 threes (of 20) and Amir Johnson has made 9 threes (of 32).
