Lakers are going all-in on the tankjob.  They are benching their two best young players (Russell and Randle) today in favor of Lou Williams and Larry Nance.

Predictions of Kobe's stat line tonight?  I'm gonna guess he shoots 2 for 45.

1 for 100.  ;) It's not like Randle and Russell will help the Lakers win games, why bench them?

I was thinking the same thing.  This may actually be a smarter starting lineup (if winning is the objective).

The lakers are tanking just as hard as the sixers, they have even more incentive to do so. The league should do away with protected picks. Maybe you can top 10 protect a pick, but that should be the end of it. Would be pretty surprised if the lakers lose their pick this year.

They just aren't very good and  aren't winning games WITH them, so they're changing things up to see if they can win some games. I would say a better tank job would be to keep them in the starting lineup and have them keep losing.

The Lakers young "prospects" are looking pretty flawed

Randle...no d player who looks for his shot all the time

Russell...lack of athleticism at this level looks like a major red flag in terms of upside

Clarkson...a gunner who has no court vision and last year looks like a mirage of a typical bad player hoisting up a lot of bad shots which equals inflated stat totals

Some good stuff happening at present.  Dallas up big; Minny up by 8; Lakers down just 1 at Toronto.

Really want the Lakers to start winning games... can't believe I'm saying it but it helps make the Nets worse and hopefully the Lakers lose their pick if they can somehow rack up enough Ws

Just saw the clip of KG THROWING DOWN ON BLAKE GRIFFIN!

Nice to see he still has a couple more left in him.   :)

That is embarrassing defense by Blake Griffin.

You are one of the most athletic big men in the league and you don't even jump to try and block the shot? Against a 39 year old player? You stand and try to take a charge?

C'mon! Have some self-respect. At least try to block the shot.
