Looks like it'll be up to the Celtics to stop the Warriors.
If Steph Curry keeps playing like this... they'll go 82-0.  Lol.  They are unbeatable right now.   He's a real-life character from NBA 2K.  Lowry just had the best game of his career... 41 points on 14-26 shooting...   Steph gets 44 points on 14-24 shooting.  Anytime the Raptors threatened to win, Curry just nailed something.
They've played numerous teams twice. They haven't played San Antonio, OKC or Cleveland yet. They nearly lost to Brooklyn and Utah - two teams that shouldn't offer much challenge. Toronto missed two clutch free-throws. It's possible, it'll just require luck and a rough shooting night from Curry - which apparently doesn't seem to happen.

They got us coming up in a week, too, so there's at least one loss coming.  ;)

In all seriousness, though, I think we give them all they can handle, and it won't surprise me to seem the C's pull that game off, especially with our rough and rowdy defense.

I think the Celtics have a chance too. Bradley guards Curry very well. We got unlucky last season against them, if I recall. We'll have to force turnovers like lunatics.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
We can beat them if we get hot from 3 but unfortunately without Smart it will be much harder.
We'd need to shoot like 40%+ and beat them at their own game.
We have the perimeter defenders and bench depth to do it.

They'd beat us 3 out of 4 times but this could be the one.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Talk about a similar stat line:

MIN.      FGM-A      3PM-A      FTM-A       OREB     DREB     REB     AST     STL    BLK
Lowry    38         14-26        6-10        7-8            1             2         3         7         4       1
Curry     38         14-24        9-15        7-9            1             1         2         7         0       0

Lowry:  41 points
Curry:   44 points

Lowry's best game as a pro?  Must be one of.  Not enough.

Not much defense being played by those two lol It's no coincidence that they both put up big numbers when they both probably guarded each other the majority of the time lol

Doc is usually lost without CP3 running the team

I think Paul George is the runner-up MVP right now after Curry. He's been unbelievable.

Agreed. Paul George has been playing incredible basketball.

Amazing that Indiana are 12 and 6.

Excellent game in Utah going on. It's been back and forth all overtime long. PG has been unreal, and Booker and Favors have been outstanding for the Jazz.
