Ehh, I'm not sure Portis is starting caliber yet.

Portis is not a finished product by any means. He got manhandled by Towns and vs some other higher level talents last season.   He needs to strengthen up his upper body. Has narrow shoulders and can't hold ground easily

Not afraid to admit I flat out hated the Rozier pick. The other three I was fairly content with.

If Rozier develops into a competent starting-calibre guard then I'll gladly declare myself proved wrong.

Not easy to find a starter with the 16th pick.

If Rozier can be a legit backup pg, i'm happy

I think that its not so rare for the 16th pick to become a starter. Much harder to find one that becomes a star or all-star or super star type player.

I am happy with the pick, as long as Rozier turns out to be either a player worth keeping or a trade piece with value. I feel the same with all players though.

At the time of the draft, the Rozier pick was definitely a bit confounding for me.  However, after having watched him play in preseason, I am very impressed.

He probably won't get a lot of minutes this year due to the fact that we have about 11,000 guards ahead of him.  But, still, it's looking like what was originally a head scratcher could turn into a really nice pick.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

MUCH easier for me to get past the #16 pick (Rozier looks like good value at the pick despite the original reaction) than it is for me to get past squeaking into the playoffs and not getting #10 or #11.  At 16 there will almost always be a player or two (or many) who end up having a better career than the player you selected.

I don't think it will ever feel like picking Robert Traylor (6), Jason Williams (7) or Larry Hughes (8th) instead of Dirk or PP in 1998.

I am happy with all 3 picks i do not think that anyone form this draft will be a super star... nor okafor nor towns... some good players... i think we got 3 excellent role players... quality players... none will be bust.. mickey is excellent as a second or third pf... rozier will be a great back up pg... hunter will eventually be the scorer of our second unit... nd they fit cbs systerm... total defense and spacing and running

had no interest in Dekker but really wanted Portis.  I was ticked off when they took Rozier but he's growing on me.  still would swap him for Portis right now.

I wanted Portis more for talent and potential than need. We were pretty set at the 1 and 4 spots so I was hoping for a shooting 2/3 or a rim protector.

We ended up with RJH and then Mickey which filled those needs. Rozier is growing on me but Portis is one of the few other rookies who had a great pre-season.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

We have one with Bradley at 19th pick. I think Rozier will start in the NBA. He gets to the rack and there is no hiccup in his release.
