Perry Jones still seems the most likely to be cut.. (snip) But before Jones is simply let go, the Celtics will explore trade possibilities that, if they come to fruition, could alleviate their roster crunch through other means.

God, do I want details.

This  makes sense and is exactly what I expected. If we can make a 3 for 1 or even 4 for 1 that brings back someone with all star potential (even just the potential), it would be a dream.

Edit: This is actually two articles by Bulpett. Nice job if you can get it: publish the obvious, and then follow up by rehashing the same information.

This kind of goes without saying. I doubt there'should any real substance there.

Also, in other news:  Celtic players are meeting with Coach Brad Stevens to practice in preparation for the season.

Can't find the link.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Is there any local reporter who is good at reporting inside info? Is there a local Woj?

i think every team would explore trade possibilities before cutting a player seen with potential

it makes perfect sense as we would be trying to gain an asset with someone we could cut for free

I'm not sure there is a GM in the league who seriously thinks the celtics will cut anyone other than Fred Perry.

So you just wait until he is waived, and you claim him of waivers no? Isn't that the only possible scenario?

No understand.

This report is almost as surprising as the one that said Louisville uses women to help recruit players.

Mark Spears was pretty good, but unfortunately got snagged by national.

Just follow to Woj. He'll probably break anything that's important about the Celtics first anyhow :P
