I think Mickey will eventually be a rotation player, but I think his best position long term is as a small ball 5 (unless he can develop a consistent 3 point shot).
Give him time to bulk up and work on his 3 point shot and then give him the opportunity to get minutes next year.
Realistically there is no way coach Stevens plays Mickey over Sully, Lee, Johnson, Olynyk, or Jerebko. We can only dress 12 players for a given game, if everyone is healthy then the C's would need to make Rozier, Hunter and Young inactive. Since we have way more depth at the bigs than the wings this is unlikely at best.
For him to see any team there would need to be a 3 or 4 for one trade for a superstar or a rash of injuries. Even if there was a rash of injuries I think you would see the C's go small before giving him extended minutes.
