114-102 wizards up.

It looks like we can take a big sigh of relief.

Wizards vs Brooklyn is less of a basketball game and more of like a comedy

Well, the Nets losing is comforting.  Especially after a terrible performance by the C's tonight.

Its official (well.. almost) we will at the very least be tied for the 3rd lottery spot! Hopefully the raptors at least play the starters for a half and we won't need to rely on a coin flip. We lost one to the Jazz in 2014.

Very good. Suns just need to win tonight so we don't have to worry about Toronto resting players.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
It's satisfying to finish the season with the 3rd worst record after all the drama in this thread.
This really had been an epic thread. I just have to get a snarky, cheeky few words in.

TOLD YOU SO!
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Toronto's scrubs are better than Washington's scrubs and Brooklyn lost to them, so I don't see them winning that game either. Although who knows.

I'm already beginning to wonder whether Danny will draft Ingram or Simmons.

One more game to go, and what a crazy ride this has been. We're finishing with no worse than a tie for 3rd best odds in the lottery. Let that sink in for a minute. 3rd best odds for a year and a half of rapidly declining legends...and we have two more years of this. Unbelievable.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Haha TP. It is amazing how many people thought the Nets were going to be so much better than they were, even as the season progressed and they showed how bad they really were.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Terrible performance aside tonight, the Celtics will finish the season with almost 50 wins with the 4 or 5th seed AND a potential top 3 pick.

Good job to everyone who stuck out in the thread and I'll see you guys in the draft lottery!

When is the draft lottery?  :P
