Pelicans just finished off OKC, 23 wins is the 6th worst record now!

Boom.
Looks more and more like they are separating themselves as a bottom 4 squad.
At least Joe leaving gives us a chance at tying/being worse than Phoenix by season's end.

This current Phoenix roster might be worse than Philly... hoping I'm wrong but I think the Nets are locked in at 4. Philly, Lakers, and the Suns are all clearly worse.

Don't rule out 5th.  They are only 2 games behind Minny and have some winnable games soon.  There's a huge game at Minny in about 2 weeks.
Minny's a better team in a weaker conference.  could pretty much figure them locked into 4th at this point

It gets interesting over the next few. Philly plays at Utah on Saturday and the Clippers on Monday. I feel pretty good about both of those. Then, they play the Lakers on Tuesday night, the 2nd night of a BTB. The Lakers will have just had three days off, so they may have a shot. Then @Denver, which should be advantage-Denver, and a huge game the next day at MN, both teams on the 2nd night of a BTB. Let's hope they lose all of those, because they have PHL/MIL/PHL in their next three games.

Minnesota's schedule over the next couple of weeks is a bit tougher, hosting San Antonio and @OKC. It softens a bit in mid-March, with a couple of games against Phoenix. They do also have a couple against GS, but there are some weaker teams in the mix, as well, as we head into the stretch run.

Statistically, I still think it is tough for BKN to catch MN, but it's certainly doable. If they make it through mid-March up by two games or more, I'll feel pretty good.

Those two games for Minny against Phoenix are going to be huge in March.

If Minny wins both, the 4th pick should be in good hands.  :)

OR
if Nets and Phx are close (with Nets cutting JJ loose, they're definitely worse), maybe 2 PHX wins gets us back in third.

Love the optimism! Phoenix does not have the world's most difficult schedule but, without Brandon Knight, their team isn't even D-League. More like F-League.

Drinks are on me at the draft party if they pull it off.

Relegation might be a real anti-tanking option at this point.  At the very least, the 76ers and Suns should have to play a mini tournament against the Sioux Falls Skyforce and Reno Bighorns.  Just for perverse curiosity's sake.  There should also be a rule that if a team sits someone like Brandon Knight unnecessarily, the are now disqualified for the games against the D-League teams.

Anthony Davis is out tonight vs. Wolves with a right foot injury that happened during warmups. Hope he gets well soon.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Disgusting. Nets are winning...
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

And on a night that Phoenix is actually winning, too.. Maybe Utah can pull out a Golden State type late comeback for the win.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.
