With all the talk about draft picks, trading players, rookies who will either stink or be great, salary caps, etc. sometimes what gets lost in the shuffle is the enjoyment of watching the game(s).  My feeling is that many of the games the Celtics played last year were entertaining and fun to watch.

My interest waned at the end of the season and totally lost it in the Cleveland series.  However, it's a new season and I'm expecting something different.  Not sure what, but if Amir and David are healthy and the rookies provide even a little spark there may be times where the excitement level could soar.  Possibly even to the point (at times) when the "die-hard, trade-the-entire-roster posters might scratch their heads and think (to themselves of course), heck this is fun...I like this team.

On the other hand, playing great and winning games could pose a dilemma many of us faced last year.... should we be playing well or should we tank?  If we are winning, will you enjoy it or will your/our minds be on some fantasy future, hoping and planning for a Championship instead?

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I always enjoy watching Celtics games when I can. The problem is, living on the west coast, I don't have access to CSNNE, and League Pass is somewhat expensive given that I probably wouldn't have time to watch many games anyways. That's why I always hope the Celtics have national TV games because it's on channels I have, like ESPN, TNT, ABC, etc.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I will enjoy watching them, or at least I hope I will.

I'm sure I'll resent how much we'll see some of the older guys out there, instead of players who might have some room to grow still.  Nonetheless, they've got some players who are fun to watch and Stevens knows how to coach guys up.

All that said, I have a feeling the league is going to catch up to this group of Celts a little bit.  I'm not expecting a full season resembling the mad dash to the finish last year.  It's going to be up and down.

But you know another team I'm going to enjoy watching?  The Nets.

I plan to have the Nets on League Pass and I am going to fervently root for them to lose every night, and it's going to feel so good because there will be no "tankers guilt" whatsoever.

You know, if you have League Pass, you can watch the games on your own time.  You can even fast forward to the 4th quarter, if you want.  You don't have to watch them live.

I am not particularly excited by this current group of players, my main interest is to see if Smart takes a leap, Young can provide anything, if Hunter and Rozier can crack the rotation.
What of any value they can get for Lee.
With Turner coming off contract,Lee looking to put up some numbers,Sullinger and  Zeller entering restricted free agency, Thomas looking to become an all star, my main curiosity is to see if Stevens can get this group to play unselfishly on the offensive end of the floor.
Apart from that for me it is all about the Nets & Mavs and what draft picks they are going to cough up to the Celtics.
So I will watch with my mind on a fantasy future.

Living in Oz means I don't get the chance to watch many games. A few years back one of our free to air providers showed games and as the C's were contenders at that time, we got a lot of games. I pick up streams when I can. So I enjoy watching any chance I get. While my enjoyment is not dictated by the team winning, it is obviously better when the Celtics win.

I like the way CBS has this team playing and expect, with the modest additions, that the team will continue to be attractive and win more games than they lose. Probably the most excited that I have been before a season since Pierce and KG moved on.

I sure am going to enjoy watching the Celtics. Just renewed my international League Pass for the 6th year in a row.

Last season was a very enjoyable season, and i think and hope we will build on that.

And, as said before, with a League Pass you don't have to watch the games live. I live in the Netherlands, so when the games are played I am in a deep sleep. I wake up, go to work, and then after a hard days work, I log in, and watch the full game that has been played the night before.

Just make sure you don't no the final result, and then it's just as good as a live game.

Love the League Pass. Best invention ever!!

i was in awe of marcus ability to fight over the top ,to chase down loose balls with no regard and because of his bulk his wingspan is easily underestimated, crowder also played the type of defense that i was taught, then add avery and i thought i had died and gone to heaven
on the offensive side IT is just pure genious with his change of speeds and ability to snake in the paint -pure magic
zeller  one of my favorites, silently improved so much and i "adored" his flip hooks along with tommy, his economy of motion that led to his taking off upcourt and his deadly mid range and automatic foul shooting, the" steal of the year" and the jerebko energy"sign the swede" and his play of year, he had to hit the wide open corner three  after a piece of magic feed from thomas
kelly and sully, i hardly watched and turner drove me nuts but i liked him -oh yeah, the sully from the ground feed to turner in the corner to win the game
-let the season begin but last season was special

Me

We got a taste of the post Rondo new CBS era .

Makes a difference , when your team actually has a chance to win games .    Losing or tanking gets old .

I like to see competitive basketball

I enjoy watching the young guys develop and they have a lot of youngsters.  The last two seasons, I expected them to lose a lot of games and tank, I'm not going into this season with that expectation.  So, I'm looking forward to it more than the last couple of years.

I watched a lot of college games the last two years, partially, to check out prospects.  That will be fun again this year as we may have a few lottery picks from other teams.

As long as Marcus Smart does Marcus Smart things on defense, I will be excited to watch every game.
