I guess the better question would be, "who isn't going to enjoy watching the C's this year (or any year) and if that's the case, why are you here?".

I'm looking forward to this season, actually I can't wait for the first preseason game. I expect this team to play fast and hard, competing on a nightly basis. Along with IMO we have a lot of young good talent that will be fun to watch them develop. Forget about tanking, those days are over, if you want a good draft pick than you and I can watch the standings and cross our fingers looking at the Nets every week!

Nothing like hunkering down, on a cold winter evening, and watching the C's. It's like a family to me. I've been doing it for more years than I care to think about. I don't mind watching young players develop, as long as they fight like hell to win... it's all about the voyage.

Not being a fan of New England winters, it simply makes cold, damp, and wet nights tolerable.

I am going to enjoy watching us compete.   I love watching Smart, I love watching CBS but the thing I look forward to the most is who wins the bigs battle this year.   We have options, and we have some more talent so it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

I didn't really enjoy watching us 2 years ago when we spent 6 months just kinda limping to the barn.

But every other year has been fun, and I expect this year will be too.

I think in theory everyone here enjoys watching the Celts.  I think we'd all admit that there have been times when we don't really enjoy watching the team, but we watch anyway.  That's what being a fan is about -- having emotional investment that compels you to pay attention even when it's difficult.

I've sometimes felt that the sentiment, "You have to love your family, but you don't have to like them," applies to my relationship with the Celtics.  I always care about how they do, but I don't always like them.  I certainly always want to enjoy watching them, and I keep paying attention, no matter what, in the hope that I will.

Yeah, the latter half of the 2009-2010 regular season and the majority of the 2012-2013 season stand out to me as times when I didn't enjoy watching the team.

The second half of the 2010-2011 season through the playoffs was frustrating, too, because I really liked our team on paper that year but it never really came together because of injuries.

LOL some people just don't understand.
I was 10 years old when my father brought me to see Bill Russell play for the first time, and I never got over it. Both my wives thought i was crazy, with Johnny Most on the radio, with the TV on at the same time. Johnny was trip!

Don't get me wrong the Marvin Barnes, Curtis Rowe, years were tough. Seeing Cowens not want to play the game anymore, retire, and then come back a Milwaukee Buck was a challenge. Hearing about Red thinking about running the Knicks was also not a good time. Like everyone else, I've seen good times and bad.

That's why I'm thankful we have DA and CBS running the ship, I've seen much worse.

I mean there's no way that post isn't just STK setting the bait for a "Hurr Durr I hate Tankers" is there?

Everybody knows it's impossible to enjoy watching individual games that the Celtics play while also having misgivings about the bigger picture and the way the Celtics are building the team long term.

I always enjoy watching Celtics games when I can. The problem is, living on the west coast, I don't have access to CSNNE, and League Pass is somewhat expensive given that I probably wouldn't have time to watch many games anyways. That's why I always hope the Celtics have national TV games because it's on channels I have, like ESPN, TNT, ABC, etc.

You know, if you have League Pass, you can watch the games on your own time.  You can even fast forward to the 4th quarter, if you want.  You don't have to watch them live.
I didn't know that you could do that with League Pass.  That's awesome!  I had it many years ago but things have changed a lot since then.  Also when I had it the quality of the video was pretty bad for a lot of the games.  Is it all in HD now?

I'm pretty sure it was HD quality when I had it a couple of years ago.  Didn't have it last year but planning on getting it again this year.

One thing I recall about not watching the games live is that if you don't tune in until the game is already over, you have to wait until later that night for the NBA to upload the whole game.
