Apologies for misspellings.

There are many super-rad posters on this forum, and I believe it's time to call special attention to the posters who spend their time on this forum/ put in enough effort to make it a must visit: even (and especially) if I/we/you don't agree with them.

Please add to this list, since I'm more than three sheets to the wind and will inevitably forget some/all of the posters worth mentioning, or at least for reasons that I have forgotten.

Celtics18 -- who is the portrait of enduring optimism.
Donghus -- who is probably the only Pats Fan to really get Deflategate
Roy H. -- For only closing threads when he runs out of arguments  :D
LHR-- For his podcasts that I never listen to because I hate podcasts
Triboy16 -- For being the most Youth-Happy person on the internet ever
Chris22 -- For never letting context get in the way of anything
Moranis -- For refusing to apologize for loving Ohio even in the face of common sense
Foulweatherfan -- for once being fairweatherfan and always being too legit to quit about basically everything.
celticsclay -- You sir, are Ned Flanders Incarnate and I mean that in a nice way
LarBrd33 -- Most legitimate Celtics Fan ever, even in the face of stern opposition (and Silver opposition)
Hemingway -- For repping the C's halfway across the planet.
Mbunge -- For always being right when I am wrong and wrong when I am right and way too fuggen stubborn to know the difference
Phosita -- Who always puts things more succinctly than I do, all the time.
Greece666 -- for the international flavor and philosophical depth
nickaganeta -- For the dog icon. And, generally, being way too smart for the rest of us (even if you're dumb enough to retire to/live in Florida -- this goes for thirstyboots18 too)
eja117 -- for the most enthusiasm about whatever it is you feel. Agreed and disagreed with no one more frequently since I started browsing and particularly since I started posting.

I missed a whole bunch of posters because I am prone to personal failings around memory and sobriety. I feel terrible about it, but I also feel weird about this entire enterprise since I only interact with y'all online and I missed so many worthwhile posters. Please help me fill in the gaps and lets rep the CB posters that make us check the site in the middle of August and early September -- I think y'all should be recognized for how special you are, and I doubt I'm unique in thinking this way.

I forgot you because of the Roman numerals but you're rad as heck too, dude!

Thank you, sir. A non-quoted response in your name.

I too am three sheets to the wind, but this thread could largely benefit from inebriated posts, I'd imagine (for happy drunks, that is). :)

I'll tack on to some comments and add to the list in support. I genuinely apologize if I leave someone off - undoubtedly there will be several posters that I appreciate but may be forgetting at this moment, and admit I haven't been around long/consistent enough to have noted a lot of great contributions over the years.

Celtics18: Dually appreciate your optimism and have always felt you had a solid rationale to support your viewpoints. Minus KO (jk).

BudweiserCeltic: Similar to Celtics18, appreciate your well-informed ideas.

PhoSita: Genuinely hope your employment involves a good bit of public speaking. Despite having no idea of who may be in real life, I can't imagine anything but a concise, extremely thoughtful and well-spoken individual on your side of the keyboard.

Triboy: Mel Kiper Jr. of the CsBlog... and what football fan doesn't believe everything Mel Kiper Jr. says?

saltlover: Better understanding of the CBA than the CBA.

Greece: Fine sense of humor and an international Cs fan.

Roy H/D.o.s: Similar in that it seems you both can discuss nearly any topic with a vast amount of knowledge, insight, and thoughtful responses.

Chambers: Solid topics and research. Threads make for consistent dialogue among others, especially during these down times.

Eja: Intelligently telling it like it is

LarBrd33: Strong opinions, supported by data, refreshing "tell it like it is" presentation, even if it isn't what others want to read. Certainly consistent, as well... :)

Beat LA: Solid knowledge of current and past events and a plethora of emoticons for those that fail to slip one in every now and again

foulweatherfan: Fellow psychologist, always with very thoughtful and insightful posts

SHAQATTACK: Your posts have made me laugh more often than any others on the site

Crimson stallion: Can't get any more thorough, right? Appreciate all the time and thought you put into your posts, even when your opinion completely differs from my own.

Denis998: Artistic flare and willingness to hook everyone up that's interest in a custom sig.

Imshaq..: Well thought out contributions to many threads

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
:-* to everyone, but I'd like to throw in a shout out to Redz and IndeedProceed, who don't post as often anymore but have been a huge part of this site and been creative enough to devise and lead some of the most bizarre, hilarious offseason fantasy drafts I've had the pleasure of participating in.  Though I'm still waiting for the panel reviews of my fantasy TV show.

And a double shoutout to Redz for it being his birthday.  Congrats man!

I would like to offer a shout out to the posters who refuse to enter into debate with the op and simply ignore him, as someone who has followed this blog virtually since it started and joined up earlier this year, the guy is bad news, Having worked with disabled children and sick elderly people and travelled extensively through over 50 countries and come across people from all walks of life, he is amongst the worst pieces of trash you can find, hiding behind the Internet and attempting  to mock, belittle, taunt, devalue posters thoughts and views virtually on a daily basis, all for his own personal amusement.
This thread was probably only started through sheer guilt having had so many people call him out on his obnoxious behaviour.

So shout out for all those who ignore the op,

Oh , it is just the Internet, as the Op likes to say when he gets called out on his garbage.
I take pleasure in knowing that if the Op if even a 5% reflection in real life that he displays on this blog the guy is in a world of hurt.

and dont let us forget flc and those terrific game threads. those are incredibly time intensive and add so much to cb.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Kinda not in the spirit of what D.o.s. is trying to do here. Also, kinda against the rules of the blog.
