Shout out to KGLL who is humble, kind, always grounded, and never ever self promoting.

Good idea DOS. All this optimism is making me uncomfortable though.

Haven't been posting a lot lately. But when the season starts, I will be back!

I've just been spending more time in another Boston sports team forum AKA Pats Pulpit. However, I do keep a separate tab on CelticsBlog to see any updates going on. You can say I'm more of a "lurker" than a "poster" these days.

I would like to offer a shout out to the posters who refuse to enter into debate with the op and simply ignore him, as someone who has followed this blog virtually since it started and joined up earlier this year, the guy is bad news, Having worked with disabled children and sick elderly people and travelled extensively through over 50 countries and come across people from all walks of life, he is amongst the worst pieces of trash you can find, hiding behind the Internet and attempting  to mock, belittle, taunt, devalue posters thoughts and views virtually on a daily basis, all for his own personal amusement.
This thread was probably only started through sheer guilt having had so many people call him out on his obnoxious behaviour.

So shout out for all those who ignore the op,

Oh , it is just the Internet, as the Op likes to say when he gets called out on his garbage.
I take pleasure in knowing that if the Op if even a 5% reflection in real life that he displays on this blog the guy is in a world of hurt.
Please read our "Posting Rules."

Shoutout to Who. Love his knowledge of the game; always in depth.

Shoot I feel like a dummy now for forgetting him.  Single best basketball-only poster in my opinion.  Always manages to offer his perspective without getting into arguments.

I'm not sure what's happened between you two, but Dos, in my experience-  has logical and respectful replies 99% of the time. I don't read every thread here but in the basketball threads that I participate in he's pretty much polite, respectful to everyone and adds solid discsssion to the blog.

I also appreciate the solid input from all the regulars here. There are too many great posters to list. All the people in the OP are great, and I will add to/include/list again some off the top of my head:

I'm missing heaps and I'm playing poker at 2 am (tired+too much coffee) but I'll add more when I think of them.
Great community and we may not agree with each other all the time but we all love the Celtics.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I appreciate all the posters who have taught me so much about the game.  I had never considered "statistics," mostly relying on my gut feelings and my limited knowledge of defense...like in art, "I know what I like!"   I want to send a particular thanks to FL for making me sound informed without going through all the research myself.

Shout out to the guys who keep the social side of the blog going with the behind the scenes work running the sports leagues and games.

Big thanks to Jeff, for providing me with hours and hours of entertainment through the blog.

Shout out to a poster I miss - SShorefan in his various incarnations.  Great personality and always had interesting thoughts.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I like the guys who get often labeled as 'trolls', but who do a heck of a lot more than just offer some faux-Skip-Bayless style counter just to tick people off. Looking at you, LarBrd33. #teamtank

Shout out to a guy also who never, ever, ever, ever gets the recognition he deserves in wdleehi. It's probably because he's a giants fan.

And also, this thread is a good opportunity to highlight the respect you have for people who disagree with you, but are smart and knowledgable enough to make you at least reconsider your stance before heading to the bunker. Rondo#### comes to mind.

Shout out to the curmudgeon nickagenta.

Big shout out to fwf who I WILL see in the DKC. Maybe. Probably not. But maybe.

Shout out to another guy who is a rock, GainesvilleCeltic. If you're ever in a heated argument with GainesvilleCeltic, you're probably wrong.

Shout out to Roy for being too darned smart.

Shoutout to Redz. He bought me lunch once. It was good. He's a really awesome guy. Shared the good beers with me and my wife afterwards too. On our honeymoon no less. Heck of a guy.

Shoutout to Who but he doesn't care because I'm pretty sure he's just a robot that was programmed to love basketball.

FLCelts doesn't get enough love for what she does for the site.

Neither does El Jefe.

Rondoalloturca is a awesome poster. Very knowledgable.

Id say shout out to StartOrien but he won't read it. He's likely somewhere talkin bout swag and playin flip cup or something.

AB_Celtic, another awesome guy. And his crew, Young_Nick and airbellineli

Shout out to Lucky17, probably one of the greatest people ever.

And finally D.o.S. Who has always treated his stupid name like such an obvious thing you should get that nobody ever bothers to ask. He doesn't even know what it means. I'm sure he doesn't.

Whatever, you're all cool. I need to find better stuff to do on a Saturday night.

And also, just so many other awesome posters. Phosita, eja, just a million other people who make the site worthwhile.

Plus also everyone else on the mod staff. Fafnir, Dons, and the guys who I don't see post anymore, Chris, Green17, just too many.
