Edit: 4 years, $52 million. INSANELY good value for Charlotte. He's getting paid marginally more than Iguodala was when he signed with the Warriors under a larger cap and with far more potential and upside.
It's a solid deal, but I wouldn't describe it as "INSANELY good value".
Personally, I think Avery Bradley at $7M/Year is
far better value than MKG at $13M/Year.
Sure Bradley lacks MKG's defensive versatility (because of size), but then Bradley is also a FAR superior offensive player - wheras MKG is really a defensive role player at best.
I would say Bradley's contract is Insanely good value right now (with the rising cap) while this proposed deal for MKG is merely 'solid value'.
You have to consider that most people on this forum were arguing that they didn't want us going after Greg Monroe for a max ($16M - $17M) because they felt he wasn't worth that. Greg Monroe is a far, far, far better player than MKG.
