Depends how Smart looks running the offense in the preseason. If he shows that he can handle the ball-handling load, especially next to Bradley, then I'd expect Crowder to start. However, if he still looks to need some more time, then I expect Turner to start. Which is a shame, because I really dislike Turner and Smart being on the floor together at the same time.

Imagine that perimeter defense in Smart, Bradley, and Crowder. Geeze, if we weren't so shallow in the rim protector department we could have a supreme defensive squad.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Too bad Harrison Barnes isn't an option. Wish DA would have worked him into the GSW deal for Turner, Sully and C's + Mavs 16' 1st picks.

The thing is I really hope neither Crowder nor Turner are the starting small forward in the near future. I'm willing to bet that the future centerpiece the Celtics are hoping for is a small forward. That's definitely not Turner or Crowder. Don't get me wrong, I like both of these guys a lot, and I think they've both proven they can be very useful players in a rotation, but they shouldn't be your starting wing if you're aiming for a championship.

Voted Crowder but it comes down to wether Turner is going to play the same or similar role to last season. I have a feeling, as we need to keep moving in a direction where Smart handles the ball more and Turner becomes less significant, that we may see Turner held back to see how Smart goes. If that fails Turner will be back. If that makes any sense.

It should be Turner unless Smart proves he can handle the offense by himself.
That's what I think, it's all gonna depend on if Smart is ready to handle the offense.
this.

Turner's primary function on the floor is to ease the ballhandling/playmaking burden on Smart.  Until Smart shows he can do that without assistance, Turner will be in the starting line-up as long as Smart is.

I think the answer would be Rozier, Smart, and then Crowder at the Sf if Rozier were ready to start.

So my hope is that they can get there by midseason.

I hope PJ3 reaches starting level.   Turner will likely Start though.

That's a lot to offer for Harrison Barnes. He's not worth two 1st round picks.

I don't think it ET's to lose, CBS wants him off the bench, he HAD to start him last season. If Jae didn't struggle with starting and Smart was ready as The PG, he wouldn't have last season. That doesn't knock what he did last season, he was really good IMO, it just means he doesn't have to start if the other players develop and become more comfortable with their roles.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

ET will start although I do think CBS could trot out both Turner and Crowder in the starting lineup as a SF/PF tandem.
