This is the final poll I'm making on who's going to start opening night against the Sixers. Seeing as everyone seems to be all over the board on who's starting, I'm trying to figure out what the most common school of belief is. So, ladies and gentlemen, cast your votes as to what wing will start and comment why they should start.

I'll go with Jae Crowder, but it could very well be Evan Turner.

It should be Turner unless Smart proves he can handle the offense by himself.

That's what I think, it's all gonna depend on if Smart is ready to handle the offense.

I agree, and I think at the start of the year, we should try to give another ball handler with Smart as much as we possibly can. I don't think we should just throw Smart to the wolves - we should instead give him another guy to handle the offense and just try to increase his role until we see if it becomes an option to play with 4 guys who don't really want the ball in their hands.

It'll probably be Turner.  I'd prefer Crowder or Jerebko.  Really, I don't think there's a starting caliber SF on the roster.

I like Crowder a lot but I feel it will be Turner on opening night.  He is valuable as an additional ballhandler.  And Smart hasn't shown he is completely ready yet.  That could change as soon as 15 games in though.

This may seem strange but I see a lot of similarities between Gallinari and Jerebko. Both long, tall 3/4 combos with slow releases and deceptive athleticism. Also both happen to wear the same number and look somewhat similar. Wouldn't mind seeing him get his share of SF minutes too.

I will go out on a limb and say we don't have a real starting caliber SF.

I like JJ and Crowder and maybe Jones .

ET is just in the way .....he needs to exit the team elsewhere.

Et makes a few clutch oddball shots ......but 90 % of the game he is face palm to watch , he disrupts the flow of th game ....

By giving the ball away ....10,000 times

Probably Turner to start the season. Crowder wound up struggling as a starter last season and then moved back to the bench where he was really effective. I think that'll continue for now.

I think turner will start but if jj could handle guarding smaller faster sf then I would love him starting

Glad you saved SF for last. This is the most depressing...

Love Crowder and Jerebko for their type of player but imagine it'll be Turner. If so, very disappointing... one of the biggest steps forward this year could be Smart finding a full-time role at PG.
