A picture is worth a thousand words because there are a thousand ways to interpret a picture.

Take a photo of me while I'm inhaling and I look thinner.  If my shoulders are sloped I look weak, but when my shoulders are pulled back I look strong(er).  If my arms are up high my stomach looks slim.  If I'm sitting, I look like I have a belly.  If you shoot a picture of me up close, my nose looks big.  When I selfie, my arms look 5 feet long.

Based on those pics, Kelly could be doughy and muscleless; or, he could be fit and tight.  The camera does not tell you a darn thing for sure.   If Kelly hasn't been working on his strength this off-season, I'll be shocked.  Whether he is stronger or not, if he hasn't been working at it he should be cut from the team.  I don't know if he has what it takes, but these picures (like Sully's before him) mean nothing.

KO has a body type similar to Mchale; he may not look buff but he will be effective this season;
Peavey Bass Player - relearning to play after 10 years sucks;

Last year I thought he put on about 10-15 pounds from his first year.

My God, he nearly ripped a guy's arm off last season.  What do you want from the guy?

Nearly is not good enough.

KO is reportedly always in the gym. He's always been in shape, and he's never seemed like the type where muscle definition will be incredibly obvious so there isn't much to take from pictures like this, imo. I'm pretty sure KO is always meeting the goals the Celtics set for him so I'm not worried much. Only thing I've wanted him to do since he's been in the NBA is continue to work on his lower body strength so he can hold position better. Won't really be able to tell if he's improved on that until he's actually playing games in preseason.

Here's another recent video of KO.

KO is what he is. You may see a bit more this season from him, but not enough to keep and invest in him. He's a backup stretch 4 at best.

Someone said if we trade him he would get 20 and 8? Yeah, he'll give up 20 and score 8.

His body is nothing like McHale's, Kevin had incredibly long arms, and was much more athletic than Kelly.
Kelly success is not based on him getting muscular, Kelly is very athletically limited, he has lead legs, short arms, no confidence, but luckily he tries.

Not to mention the quickness (pre-stress fracture, of course), to shut down the most explosive wings of the 80s.

And just think, at this time last year someone made a hilarious thread entitled, "woah - KO's new beach body," lol ;D. That was epic ;D.

better than Sully

While I don't like either of them, I do disagree on this one.  Any reason(s) why you think KO is better than Sullinger (Shaggy hair aside, of course ;) ;D)?

And, it continues.

A lot of very uninformed, baseless comments bashing a guy who has spent the first two years in the league as a very productive player.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I bet if Giannis was bulking up, people will say he's one step closer to becoming the next Durant.  ;)

Idk about this. I thought he looked pretty cut in that video that was posted on the thread.

From all accounts he has been training with the Celtics so I think he is getting in better shape. From his 1st to second year I thought his quickness and lift improved and I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again.

The advanced numbers indicated he was very good last year although the eye test indicates he can  play much better than he did in 2014-2015.

With Kelly I'm nervous that he won't get consistent minutes due to the log jam in the front court and it will hurt his confidence.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Definitely thought this was going to be a shaving thread.

Am disappointed.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.
