Spencer Hawes continues to be the best comp I can think of for KO. 

Hopefully KO figures out how to be more consistently assertive and engaged in the offense while reducing his fouls.  If he can do that, I think he can be better than Hawes.

Tearing Loves arm off was a step in the right direction .

He needs to be aggressive on offense..............don't think ......just Do it !

Use his body to defend ,  not the cheapy hand fouls he picks up constantly


Hopefully Lee and Johnson will help direct him to play aggressive , stand in there and BE 7 ft tall.

I'm not giving hope on this guy becoming a fairly productive NBA starter. He'll never, ever be an all-star, but hopefully he won't stay stagnant like last season either.

While that's true I think it runs counter to the popular notion on this blog that Stevens has control over his rotations and playing time allocations.

I'm not sure what value KO has right now in the NBA. I'd rather unload him now during the off season somehow than let his stock fall a little further come this fall. As you can tell, I'm not overly optimistic that his game will take another leap forward.

Kelly has very little upside remaining. Physically he has reached his potential, he'll gain some savvy. I'm not looking for much of a change in KO from last year to this year.

They both have major defensive flaws, and I think Sully's flaws just bought him more minutes. KO had more problems covering centers, and Sully had more problems covering power forwards. We just happened to be very thin at center last year, while Bass, Jerebko and even Crowder are better defensive options at power forward.

Same here. Don't think Olynyk will have the minutes he needs to raise or even maintain his trade value. Probably would have dropped anyway if Olynyk does anything short of taking a major step forward next season.

He has said that getting his shot off more quickly is something he's working on this summer--so we'll see.

  Soooo many people on this forum are going to be eating their words in regard to K.O.!  He is infinitely more valuable than any of you give him credit for.  As I have said before the Celtics have ZERO intention of trading him!  You will all see the light eventually.

I just like Olynyk is a big off the bench that can provide floor spacing on offense with his shooting range.  If he becomes more assertive and takes his defenders off the dribble that would be another dimension to his game that would definitely help the team.

I respect your opinion, but I didn't see enough improvement, season to season, to suggest him suddenly thinking he's the man. I would be happy to see an ounce of swagger. 
Kelly is a good kid, he works hard, I hope I'm wrong. I just don't see him having the ego to just begin believing he's the man.
