https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/status/623567617165373440According to Stein: Another curveball in Mavs' offseason: Hearing that vet swingman Richard Jefferson, thought to be staying in Dallas, now signing with CavsThat is huge for our pick next year, he was really consistent for them last year. It will also be harder to ease Parsons back now and will really compound their problems.
I really find this insignificant to the Mavs or Cavs. The guy is 35 and he averages 5.8 PPG. It's like being concerned with Gerald Wallace.

Plus they are weak at SF until Parsons is healthy and he can absolutely be league average at the start of the season.
LOL, defecting.Geographically speaking, this would make Dallas (being further West) the U.S., and Cleveland the U.S.S.R. in this analogy?
Are the Cavs a bank now? They seem to just be printing money
why is it a thing for a player to commit and then change their mind?
doesn't really move the meter either way for. The mavs just signed John Jenkins, who will take on Jefferson's role and is younger. I can't wait for the season to start so i can start tracking where our picks will end up.

I think that is pretty obvious plus Cuban told some players they don't have to keep their commitment after Jordan dumped them.
