Are the Cavs a bank now? They seem to just be printing money

Maybe.  They do, after all, play in the Quicken Loans Arena ;). It certainly looks like they got the wrong RJ, though, haha ;D. I was really surprised that they didn't take him, especially after losing to Golden State, but whatever.

why is it a thing for a player to commit and then change their mind?

What are the chances of Jefferson getting a championship sitting beside Mike Miller on the bench in Cleveland or putting up under 6 pts per game in a Maverick uniform? I think that is pretty obvious plus Cuban told some players they don't have to keep their commitment after Jordan dumped them.
I just think it's pretty unprofessional for players to verbally commit then back out of it
Apparently mark cuban gave players like Matthews, Barrea, Jefferson and Villanueva a chance to reevaluate their choice to sign there after Jordan backed out of his decision. So this is a little different.
