a pre season and some big targets on pick and roll, these rookies not a patch on what a genius he is.an absolute master of getting in the paint and absorbing contact from hitting bombs to taunting bigs-stretch the floor and let the isiah show begin-

I suspect it will be the opposite.  Although he provided outside shooting that we didn't have, the playoffs exposed his mediocre ballhandling and less-than-mediocre passing.

I'm disappointed that Danny asked him to recruit and that he's on the books for another couple of years because I'm ready to move IT in a package that gets us the SF or C we need.  If Danny deals him after having him recruit, it would make the franchise look crappy.

I agree that it was a risky move on Danny's part that ultimately didn't work at all. By asking IT to recruit, we pretty much set ourselves up for having to keep him. I do think he is an excellent 6th man, though, and he's on a good contract. I am also not sure how much he is worth (see the Thornton trade) so we are likely better off keeping him anyway.

I had some slight hopes in bringing in Lawson over IT, but I think this was just me going for the bigger name. Besides, IT came slightly cheaper, is on a better contract, and just seems like a better person.

I don’t think DA plans to move IT, it is known that DA has been after IT for a while.
Obviously DA being DA, if an opportunity comes that brings greater value, DA will not hesitate and trade IT.

I agree that IT seems like the higher-character person over Lawson.  Didn't really see the appeal of bringing in Lawson when we already had a similar player in IT.  an exchange, maybe, but not in addition to.

during summer league i thought marcus had picked up some of isiahs tricks in the paint,so isiah should be a very good mentor for rozier--the cav's in playoffs used length as did bucks in regular season and concentrated on stopping isiah but, will not be that easy this year with the teams additions-also isiah had just recovered  IF from that brutal back contusion- also that was the playoffs ,that sort of intensity doesn't happen during regular season

IT is nothing more than a valuable piece off the bench, that's it. An energy guy to come off the bench and get you quick points. He shouldn't start or be a guy you build around.

He has his faults, especially when his minutes are extended. I like IT in short spurts.

boston is famous for the sixth man-isiah paralyzes and humilates other teams,he creates havoc to any half hearted normal season defense-the crowd comes alive and so do his teamates-as far as i'm concerned i hope he  has a season that makes him the celts addition to the all star team-as to mediocre the cavs had one mission stop and hound isiah--and he wasnot fully recovered from his injury-

Teams, I think, will play him more physical after they saw they could slow him down by getting  getting physical with him.  It will be subtle a hard pick here and there but they will do it.

.a subtle hard pick while he plays defense, begs for retaliation,he is more vunerable in the air on offence-you just will not face that kind of d in regular season unless you play the celts and marcus-most players in nba don't play defense and with the amount of screens its hard work and isiah center of gravity and quickness along with refs certainly give him an advantage-
this is entertainment till the playoffs, then its war-players talk about having fun-not in russell -,cowens,bird and garnett era--

But isn't that because defense focused on him more since he's pretty much our only scorer?
