Hill would've been perfect for the Celts coming off a season where he averaged 12 points and 8 rebounds per game.

Of course he's not a guard, so why would Ainge show any interest?

God forbid he should sign a center.

Maybe Ainge only wanted to sign guys who were willing to accept a multi-year deal with only the first year guaranteed.

He's not a tweener or undersized that's why Danny didn't bother  ::)

Probably because we have plenty of big already (and, had Danny signed him, tons of people would be criticizing him for it)  ::)

But I'm SURE you wouldn't be one those people, right?  ;D
I'm bitter.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
because he sucks and we have acquired two bigs who are better than him already.
What does this stiff actually provide?

Looks like he wanted to start and Zeller starts over him if he is with C's. So Indy is best fit.

Hill wouldn't move the needle that much for us. Amir doesn't what Hill does if not much more. Same as Lee.

DA I think is more focused on getting a starting wing.

  • GOT IT!!!
Amir is more versatile on offense than Hill. He fits CBS system better. He'll be fan favorite with his energy. He's just not the "star" we thought the C's would have a shot at.

No, because Hill would've filled a position of need.

A foreign position on the Celtics, known as center.

The other guys you are referring to are power forwards.

Why should Zeller automatically get to start over Hill?

At the very least let the guys battle it out for the starting position in training camp.

because he's a better player than Hill.
Amir Johnson is better.
So is David Lee.
Sullinger is better and Olynyk is arguably better.
No need for this scrub.

Jackass!!

Stop. Stop. Stop.
Honestly I can't fathom the Hubert-Gerald Green-Mo Harkless-Jordan Hill-other 2nd stringer scrub stuff.
Danny has decided to go with certain players over others. The most interesting question is why and what is the end goal? Not "Fire Danny!!"
