More interested in Kings vs. Mavs, Rondo might end up with the last laugh in this one (except for all the millions he lost in the market).

If they both played in the East, the Kings, if they both played in the West, the Kings. But since the Celtics play in the East and the Kings play in the West, the Celtics will have more wins.

to be honest, I don't know, but I might give the edge to the Celtics...

the Kings are better, but I think with all the egos surrounding, Rondo, Cousins and Karl, they are going to struggle early on in the season and probably pick it up around December, all-star break

our team is basically the same team from last year with some new additions and at this point, a bit more team oriented...have a year under their belt

I think we will see what we saw the last half of the season last year...

I say we get anywhere between 45-48 wins

Kings 35 -40 wins

Based on last years standings that would put us in the 4-5 seed in the east.  Do you really think our roster is a top 4-5 team in the east?  At this point I am not convinced.

I think so, this team is build for a whole season performance. Great FO, coach and players that play together with great chemistry. Anywhere from 40 to 55 wins is realistic. Now this kind of team are generally the first to be eliminated in the playoffs due to the intensity and lack of talents, I agree.

Boston will definitely have more wins than Sacramento. Based on talent and quality of competition.

Celtics. I can say with relative certainty that at some point this season the Kings locker room will descend into utter chaos and the organization will collapse in on itself like a dying star.

LOL!

The Kings will explode or implode ...self destruct ....more than likely

I got a BAD feeling ......Boogie , Rondo, Karl .....new GM ..who may not be in charge in reality .....

Kings is dangerous chemical compound .....ready to ignite at any second .......it won't take but ONE major fallout .....

Cousins walks off the court and out of Sac town.

Celtics should win by default ......kings self destruct

It's really hard to say as the rosters are not finalized yet. If nothing much changes, I'd give us a slightly better chance. The kings are probably more likely to do really well or really poorly and we are likely to improve slow and steady. Being in the east, as said will help. And also as said, if it comes together in Sac they could be much better.

We have one of the best coaches in the league.  That's all the confidence I need to say Celtics will definitely have a better record.

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would

The celtics for a few reasons.

1. WCS will hurt DMC's production. Stein does not draw any attention away from the paint, thus his defender will always be around which hurts DMC's chances of scoring because of the crowd down low.

2. The Kings will have a horrible chemistry. Both Rondo and DMC have very hostile personalities, and George Karl is no zen master. I'm 90% certain the two will not get along and cause problems in the locker room and on the court, which will ultimately make them lose more.

3. Even if they do well it is going to take a while to get going. The Kings have so many new plays which play key parts in their game plan that they will have some growing pains. If they lose too much early Rondo or DMC will probably go off. (See #2)

After reading this thread, and all the dead-certain predictions of chaos and disarray, I won't be shocked if the Kings end up being really boring, get along just fine, and play basketball.

Here's my SWAG:  The Kings will win slightly more games than the Celtics, but just miss the playoffs in the West, while we will be the #4 seed (Division).

Kings are more talented. I think they'll have more wins, particularly when Rondo goes down with an injury  ;D

I'm pretty sure division based seeding is ending this year, Silver seemed to be really intent on fixing it.

You think Brad Stevens is a better coach than George Karl?

Why?

For starters, maybe because he doesn't go into warrs with his own players and try to get them shipped out of town?

And now, your Sacramento Kings!!

Rondo continually pounding the ball into the floor, leaving defense to "these other guys".

Cousins always pouting and screaming at Rondo, pass me the freaking ball will ya.

Belinelli wondering why he signed with the cast of One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest.

WCS secretly pouring large douses of laxative in Cousins water bottle, hoping for a chance to just play.

George Karl shaking and chain smoking on the sidelines.

The ownership looking to hire a sniper to take out of Rondo and Cousins.

Celtics by 10 games.
