I'm sure the Clippers are thrilled right now, but...

1.  There's no way this doesn't make Jordan look like a fool to other players.  Not that he went back to the Clips but that he looked like such a wuss in doing so.

2.  If they don't give Jordan a bigger role in the offense, he's going to be enraged and feel betrayed.  If they do, does anyone think more touches for Jordan are going to make the Clips a better team?

3.  They're going to go into next year relying on a soon-to-be member of AARP as their starting SF and a bench almost entirely composed of a ballhog chucker and a ballhog headcase.

I suppose Dallas can offer him a better contract.

I'll be rooting for the Truth but I think it's a year too late. I don't see them being anything but stuck in the middle of the West.

If this is the most foolish thing that DeAndre Jordon ever does in his life, I'd say he's in pretty good shape.

I've got a problem with a guy who has no offensive game outside of dunks complaining about being a "third wheel." I also think Pierce should've stayed in DC.

Here's to hoping for another disappointing season for the Clippers.

I'm not sure if he could be a dominant low post scorer but why hate the guy for wanting to try?

@clydedrexler22: Why are you playing with people's time and money? your word is as valuable as your free throw shooting #DeAndreJordan #clippers #Mavericks

Those tweets from an account identified as Clyde Drexler's are not from Clyde Drexler, the former Blazers, Rockets Hall of Famer

It's still funny, though, and it still represents my thoughts on the matter.

This became very entertaining:

"At one point, Clippers forward Blake Griffin tweeted out a chair wedged underneath a doorhandle, alluding to locking out the Mavericks."

and added "Don't agree with the furniture layout but I'm not an interior designer."

About an hour later, Parsons tweeted "I thought I had a good pump fake."

At this point I like it. Cuban will attempt to spend a ton of money to overcome the embarrassment of this, so the Mavs won't be terrible. But this means the Mavs pick goes from being late first round to mid first round, potentially even later lottery, which is good for us.

Lost all respect for DeAndre.

Coward move.

He's not allowed to change his mind?

He certainly is allowed to change his mind, but, when you've verbally committed to something and back out, that's cowardly.

I would understand if he just entertained talks with the mavs, and decided to go with the clips.
But he committed, and now he backs out. Not a good look for him.

Don't get me wrong, this is awesome for the Celtics, we might get a good pick out of the Mavs.
But I stand by my point.

DeAndre Jordan has signed a four-year, max deal with the Clippers, I'm told. Option after 3rd year. As if the Clippers RT left any doubt.

Bottom line is the Clippers just did not have any other move, they would have ended up in the lottery without DJ. They virtually had to go on all fours to him.

Nice going NBA. Way to teach the young fans about honor.
