Jared Sullinger + Gerald Wallace for Roy Hibbert[/b]

Gives Indiana a young replacement for David West.  Celtics take a flier on Roy Hibbert in the last year of his deal.  Finally get a rim protector.  Guy who might re-discover some of his potential with a change of scenery.

I like this deal.

Hate Hibbert, this slow, nonathletic type of player is going the way of the dodo bird in the NBA, report is Indy will try to dump him for these reasons.

Yet just a year ago Hibbert was still talked about as one of the very few players in this league with the ability to deter LeBron James from attacking the rim.

I think Hibbert still has value.  Indiana is obviously no longer the place for him to realize the full potential he still has.  Not saying he's an All-Star, but Sullinger and Wallace is not much to give up for a reclamation project with fairly high upside, I think.

Olynyk and Hibbert could be a strong frontcourt pairing, though it would require a relatively slow pace.  The teams Stevens coached in college were notoriously slow, though.  I think he can coach a team like that.  And then you have the Zellers and Mickey on the bench to change things up and play more of a running style.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.
