Hezonja sliding would be the dream scenario. I prefer Johnson over WCS, especially now with the injury concerns.

isn't the draft 8 players deep?  Keep movin up, baby.

Some order of this:

1 - Towns
2 - Okafor
3 - Russell
4 - Mudiay
5 - Porzingus
6 - Mario
7 - Winslow
8 - WCS

My guess is Boston would hope that WCS would be there at 9.

If true, you package it and continue to move up.

My guess would be were gonna try to combine the rest of their picks to move up into the high teens /low 20s. Philly is gonna give that offer more consideration if your including the 9th and say 19th (random example) instead of 16 and 28

James Young, Kelly Olynyk, Gerald Wallace, #9, #19 (example), 2016 BOS 1st, 2016 MIN 1st, 2018 Brooklyn 1st, 2018 MEM 1st for #3 and Robert Covington

Lots of people consider Young a top-ten prospect and Hinkie gets the unprotected Brooklyn 1st he wants so bad. That's a lot to give, and they still might say no. But I think that #3 pick is gonna be DA's plan for getting Cousins.

Even if that's all we do, that's a good deal. Be it Johnson, Turner, WCS or Hezejona that we get there, it's a good deal and I think you'd agree.

So you want to (essentially) trade Sullinger, Young (would be a top-10 pick this year), Olynyk, and 6 (!!!!!) first round picks for a PIECE of another trade for Cousins?

IF this is real, I would be inclined to think that #9 would be used as a piece to move up further. If Danny moves up, then he's doing it for someone he wants, not just for the sake of a move, so allegedly agreeing to a trade like this before the draft wouldn't make a lot of sense just to pick at #9. I wouldn't be surprised if DA does two deals which eventually get us to #6, where we can take one of Mudiay, Hezonja, or Winslow, letting WCS fall to #9 where SAC would get the guy that Boogie wants. It makes sense for everyone involved IMO. Here's a rough framework:

Sully and #16 to CHA for #9 and Zeller

We get a piece that SAC wants and CHA gets a PF and a pick where they can take a shooter

AB and #9 to SAC for #6

We get a top-end prospect and SAC picks up a valuable player in AB and placate Boogie by adding WCS at #9
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

just going to revive this to note how nuts it is that Winslow fell to number 9, and then the Hornets passed on him for Kaminsky?!?! The Heat are soooo lucky.
