  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
Im going to throw a curveball.

16- anderson
Trade 28 and 33 for Mickey at 23-24

45th pick - Guidatis (draft and stash)

If moving into top 10

6th or 7th pick for 16-28-33 picks - WCS

45th - connaughton
I think we will be able to get Mickey at 28 or even 33 if that is who we want.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Not sure. He stated he has a promise from a team picking late 20s prior to celts 2nd workout. My guess is lakers at 27. Maybe blazers

We pick 3 players tonight.

Celts trade one of Olynyk/Sullinger, #16, and other picks to get Hezonja at #8 or #9.

Portis or Dekker drops into low 20s, and we trade up from #28 to pick.

We draft Upshaw at #33.

I predict that for Boston fans, tonight will be another dud fireworks display. Despite Ainge's best efforts, neither he nor any other GM will budge on what they consider fair value in a big trade, so nothing major will happen. Meaning that Ainge might swing a small trade or two involving bit players, contract dumps, and low draft picks, but there will be no move into the lottery, no Cousins, no Aldridge, etc. In other words, no "love" for Boston tonight.  ;D

Celts make a deal with the Heat where they surrender the 16th pick and take on some bad salary but are able to land Myles Turner.

The Bennett trade goes through. Wolves get the 28th pick.

In the second round we get lucky and come away with Pat Connaughton and Robert Upshaw.

Would like to see at very least: (assuming no Love/LMA/Cousins)

1. Trade to move up to get Mario H or Porzingis

2. Sign Monroe

Danny facilitates the trade the for cousins to LA... hear me out

Kings: Randle, Clarkson, KO, AB, Zeller, turner 16, 28, 27, 2016 celtics, 2016 min, 2016 mavs,

Lakers: Cousins

Celtics: #2 and #6 / landry/ stauskas

We select Okafor and Mudiay

Danny goes for the Youth movement instead of the quick rebuild while retaining the brk 2016
we take on Landry to freeup kings capspace and they go after greg monroe in FA and lakers go after love

Celtics
PG Mudiay/IT
SG Smart/ Stauskas
SF Young/ Crowder/ wallace
PF Sully/ Landry/ 33 alexander
C Okafor/ Biyombo/ 45 Upshaw

Kings

Collison/Clarkson
Mclemore/AB
Gay/ Turner
Randle/ KO
Monroe/ Zeller

Lakers

PG ??
Sg Kobe
SF ??
PF??
C Cousins

Ehh they could get anyone or they could get nobody how much do the leagues superstars want to play for a ball dominant aging sg and a talented yet short tempered ball dominant C??

But this is my prediction for bragging rights because it's an out there idea and whats the point of bragging rights if everyone had the same prediction  ;D

The only deal Ainge makes is trading 28 for a future first rounder - that's probably going to be in the 15-25 range so it will be to a middle of road club.  One of the 2nd rounders gets stashed in Europe.  At 16 they try to address the need for a shooter - and CelticsBlog blows up calling for Ainge's head.

Boston tries to move up but can't and picks at 16. He dumps the 28 pick for something as well as one of the second round picks. Euro pick with the other

After the hype and build up, Boston takes a marginal role player at 16 that will be nothing more than a rotation guy that doesn't add much punch.

[dang], I left my crystal ball at home today.

I need to find some entrails.

I guess that we will trade up to pick 11, not give up Marcus Smart, and take Myles Turner.
(1) same, but make it pick 10, miami's, and they take turner.

(2) the celtics trade #28 for more second rounders, taking hernangomez, alexander, and guidaitis.

(3) they take upshaw with #45.

(4) at least 3 cb threads appear, all demanding ainge be fired immediately.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
