Crazy, some moves there. Hezonja moved up, Mudiay and WCS dropping.

For Cs, if we stand pat, I'd be pretty happy with RHJ, Holmes, Gudaitis, and Upshaw at 45.

Yeah, we definitely need to get up to 12, because there's no way Phoenix lets WCS pass. I'm not sure if he'll really drop that far, but I can't imagine Danny not pulling off a deal to get him somehow if he does.

Agreed. I had some concerns due to the questions about the angle of the screw in his foot and whether or not it healed correctly after surgery. But this is also from Givony:

Quote
Martin O'Malley, a renowned ankle and foot specialist in New York, checked his foot out last week and said he's completely fine. Doctor O'Malley is used by almost every team in the NBA, including working with our client Kevin Durant. The fracture has healed and is asymptomatic. Teams who are overly cautious may want to look into an offseason cleanup if we agreed to it, but currently Willie is 100% pain free and not limited in any way. Any team that really looks at this will have no reason for concern. Teams rely on their doctors, and we rely on ours. I told them they can call Doctor O'Malley and many have already.”

Apparently some issues about his past came up as well, but I haven't read details about that.

If WCS drops past 10 Danny has to make a deal for him.

Given, those [dang] Draftexpress videos on players aren't all-knowing, but it depresses me when I see "Role Player Potential" as a strength for our projected top pick. I'd much rather get an injured player who has star potential.

and regardless of all of that, I think WCS would be great.

Mudiay will be drafted 3rd by the 76ers.

Alexander at 33 and Upshaw at 45 is a dream scenario

Plus WCS going at 13 we would definitely trade up and get him at 12 or 11

In this Mock you have to move up and grab both WCS and Turner. Can't have enough rim protection and length..

I generally agree, but it's also noted he "tries to dunk everything" and is "dangerous in transition." Dude grabs a board and just takes the heck off. We haven't had an athlete like that in some time, and he still has room to fill out his 6'7", 220 lb frame. 4th best rebounding SFs among top 100, and guarded everyone from Delon Wright to Kaminsky.

I'd like to move up too, but would definitely be happy with him at 16. Have to think he could improve his 3 to some extent, too - he's 20%, from 70% from FT line. May take him longer to get it off with his hitch, but shot selection could help.

A well-informed comparison I read of Dekker ... Jeff Green.  Makes sense.

If they draft another Jeff Green ... meh.  I guess that's pretty good for a 16th pick.  Man I hope they trade up.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

That's a great pick at 16.

Geez all this drama to.end up with the white Jeff Green (3 that can't shoot or dribble). Can't take it. Have to at least get Turner or WCS here..

Yeah, you'd have to be thrilled if the 16th pick turned into Jeff Green.

I'm just depressed at the idea of watching another player who is as much of a maddening tease as Jeff Green.

I agree with others, I'd rather take a guy who is a much greater risk / reward.  But there's just not much in the way of high upside outside of the top 8-10 spots in this draft.

Man, he looks like he is throwing the ball at the hoop! Wow. That's UGLY! I know any player can make buckets with no defenders but I was shocked every time it went in.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

wcs dropping to 13 makes sense.  He's just a more famous Bismack biyombo.  But if he's there we should trade up to get him.  I'm fine with the price of moving up 3 spots. I wasn't fine with the idea of paying for a top 5 pick just to land wcs ... Not with biyombo lurking in free agency.

This shows how speculative the draft business is.

Initially, WCS was projected around 10 if I remember well.

Then, for some time, he was flirting with being a top 5 prospect.

And now, after ppl found out his medical history he is out of the top 10.

Rollercoaster.
