That doesn't strike me as a particularly strong selling point for either of the three guys.

They will probably try to sell him on being coached by Brad Stevens and playing with a young group with a lot of potential 
I mean, I get it from the standpoint of allowing Love to be the focal point on offense in Boston, but... if you're using 37-year-old Paul Pierce as your selling point, I'm not particularly confident.
(And from Pierce's perspective, I just don't see any reason to think he'd be more confident in Stevens, Love, and Lopez over playing with Doc, CP3, Blake, and possibly DeAndre).
