Here is that I "predict" that will happen once that day comes around.

1. Minnesota - Karl Towns - Consensus #1 pick, offers the 2 way player that they so desperately need. They don't really need the offense minded Okafor because they already have quite a bit of scoring options. The 3 point ability of Towns solidifys his spot here. (P.S. he grew up and went to high school a couple of towns over from where I live.)

2. Los Angeles - D'Angello Russell - Lakers are in "Win Now" mode. This means that their main goal is free agency, and this year it is heavy in talent in the PF and C position. They are going to draft the best PG and roll the dice in FA market. Russell reminds me of CP3, a player that they tried to trade for and failed.

3. Philly - Jahlil Okafor - With this pick Philly is drafting the BPA, expect them to trade one of the elite 3 bigs they have, most likely for a guard on a fresh contract.

4. New York - Justise Winslow - Phil is drafting to fit the triangle, he is going to take the best player to fit that role, and he will slot Winslow at the 2. Similar to LA, they are in Win Now mode, and are playing their hands to pick up a 4/5 in FA.

5. Orlando - Kristaps Porzingis - Their only hole in the starting line up is the PF, Porzingis is all that they hope for.

6. Sacramento - Mario Hezonja - Divac is making this pick, I see him picking up Hezonja here for roster needs as well as personal biases.

7. Denver - Emmanuel Mudiay - They are on their last legs with Lawson, I see them drafting Mudiay with this pick.

8. Detroit - Cameron Payne - Similar to Denver, they need a PG, and there have been recent reports that they want to dump Jennings for a third string PG. I see them picking up the third best PG in Payne.

9. Charlotte - Devin Booker - I feel that they want a guard that can shoot. That is Booker and then some.

10. Miami - Stanley Johnson - Great insurance if both Gordon and Dwyane leave in FA.

11. Indiana - Willie Cauley-Stein - They need a uptempo big that play in a fast pace. They are also on the last straw with Hibbert.

12. Utah - Kelly Oubre- Here is where the picks get fuzzy. Utah have a great starting lineup for the future. I see them picking the greatest upside player overall, and that in my eyes is Oubre.

13. Phoenix -  Myles Turner - (Forgot him in my first post) - See him going here, range as good as Kaminsky, but I feel like he is better in every aspect.

14. Oklahoma City - Trey Lyles - Complete team that was marred by injury. I see them picking up Lyles as a gamble here. He is the dark horse of the draft, and OKC is the team that can afford a gamble, either way their rookie is set to come off of the bench for the foreseeable future.

15. Atlanta - Sam Dekker - Dekker is a all around good player that will fit the Atlanta system very well. Also will be good to have him around for the eventual departure of Carroll and Korver.

16. Boston - Bobby Portis - Portis is, in my mind, a perfect pick for the Celtics. He brings two way talent to the floor, he will be able to guard opposing centers as he bulks up a bit. On the other end of the court he can stretch the floor very well. People may say that he is too similar to KO, but I see that as a positive. Having them both of the floor at once will stretch the floor so much, anyone player will have the looks to cut to the basket.

If it goes like that one through 15 I'll be thrilled then I would grab Turner and run.

Good stuff Denis, Tp, I'm with you on Portis at 16 too, people forget he's tall enough to play some center, and he's already 240 pounds.

Yea, did the OP forget about him or intentionally leave him out?  I would say he forgot about him as I don't see why Dekker would go over him at the very least.

Same question could be put regarding Lyles.  I'm not a huge Turner fan, but I can't see him going after Lyles.   I'm not sure Oubre goes before him either.
NBA Officiating - Corrupt?  Incompetent?  Which is worse?  Does it matter?  It sucks.

So, your fix is to now have Kaminsky dropping to #17?

I suppose that could happen.  Seems unlikely, though.

TP, but the Pistons need a PG? They've repeatedly said they'll re-sign Jackson, have Jennings returning from surgery, plus Dinwiddie.

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

Cap space: $24 mil.

Well I see a Achilles injury as quite bad for the longevity of a career. The point on Jackson is well warranted, but at the end of the day he is still a free agent, only he knows where he will go once FA starts. I can also see them picking up a SG in this draft as well.

I think he has a sort of McDermott effect to him. I think the GM's will see that Wisconsin's system was tailored to Kaminsky. Something like that doesn't translate well to the NBA. For the same reason I feel that Dekker will play well in the next level, Wisconsin was totally counterproductive to his game. Also in his comments, he keeps pushing his position as a PF, doesn't bode well for me; it seems like he is scared to play the post.

My guess would be that Detroit goes big to replace Monroe. Payne may be going a little too high here, I do like him a lot though. I think he's going to make it in the league with all his frieken talent. He's a joy to watch.

Any idea on who SVG will pick? If it isn't Payne, with the remaining bigs I can picture him picking Turner. Seems like he would fit into SVG's system where the outside bigs can shoot, like they did in Orlando. Kaminsky is a possibility here as well.
