Why no triboy? Too much or you just don't like him.

Probably because 4 guys with potential are better than 1.

We could miss out on the next Orien Greene or Ryan Gomes.

Or equally likely, Stanley Johnson could be the next Orien Greene.  Drafting is too much of a crap shoot to trade 4 picks for one player with this many question marks.  No thanks is my opinion.  I seem to be in the minority.

Oriene Green? Come on really, that kid was garbage and taking in the second round. This kid is a stud rarely seen 242 pounds of chiseled muscle and will be a lottery pick and you can make a case he's as good as Winslow. He might not be great, but he will be an NBA starter soon enough.

Cant finish near the basket, mediocre feel for the game and said he is the best player of the draft.  Which is funny

I would give up the 4 picks for winslow though.

I would give up all 4 picks to move up for Mudiay, Hezonja, Winslow, and maybe WCS but not for Johnson.  I'd say RHJ is a similar player and 90% of the prospect; if we're going to use our top pick on a defensive wing I'd rather take him at 16 and take 3 fliers later on.

I probably would. The logic here is sound: the Celtics have waaay too many picks over the next few years to actually draft guys with (unless he plans on stashing a bunch of guys overseas). Even if Stanley isn't his top choice, getting him is better than using those picks on 4 guys that project to be role-players. The other option is staying at 16 (hoping someone with upside slips, which is likely) and packaging the other picks for a player or to move up from 28.

RHJ is my only problem with Johnson. Overall, I like them both quite a bit though.

Do you mean to say that's a bad thing? Because Ron Artest without the crazy is a great player and a perfect fit for the Cs.

Artest was a stud his first 5-7 years in the league . He was a defensive player of the year candidate that averaged 15+ ppg . I think Johnson definitely has that type of potential .
