High risk/high reward pick: Oubre at 16 or McCollough at 28

I'd snag both too. We're in a position to hit for home-runs, not singles. The latter would be a mistake imo.

I'm higher on Oubre, but probably just because I'm always worried about bigs that have a lot of muscle-building to do. McC is reported to have the frame to fill out though. What I love about both is the upside in terms of versatility... the league is moving towards teams of "swiss army knives" that can do it all, and I can see this guys being effective in multiple positions if they reach their potential. Oubre has superstar-level tattoos already, too. Can't discount that.

Yeah . you got to be cursed that both will suck.  Unless oubre does and mccollough is never the same due to his injury/recovery

Related to the other thread re: Sheridan's speculation about #4 to Celts, I would be more terrified of Porzingis than any one in this draft. As the resident talent scout, I'd be interested to hear your take on him. From videos, my initial impression is that he can't even see the floor unless he adds 15-20 lbs, and is largely a spot up shooter with athleticism to finish well in transition.

If he can add 15-20 pounds, your looking at prob the best player of this draft.  His jump shot like dirk would be near unblockable. If you got too close he will then drive by you and dunk over 2 or 3 guys. Devastating potential. Just needs to add the weight so he does not get pushed around on the defensive end. 

Danny imo pulls the trigger to get porzingis (if he gets the opportunity)and hopes Bryan Doo can help him build his body. If you look at the workout video below, he has more definiton/looks like added a little more muscle. So there is promise he can continue to get bigger, stronger.  Impressive workout video. He does not miss and his dunks are quick and powerful(does not need to jump that high).

Agreed, odds are not very high that both work out anyway. And if they do, there are worse things in the world than having two sharpshooting wing players with 7'+ wingspans...

Agreed as well also worth noting that both have the size to ply the 2 or 3 and Oubre has hy physical profile to be an elite defender so if both pan out you could put them at the 2 and 3 without hesitation.

If they reach their potential a smart young Oubre 1-3 could be lethal
