You build them up so you can tear them down.Media 101
I would say that aside from a few people that clearly have an issue with him (WOJ), most national writers are pretty easy on Lebron and give him tons of praise. The negative stuff you see is more from bloggers and fans than the national media. The ABC announcer really slobber over him in particular and obviously he has basically a press manager at ESPN (Windhorst). Do you disagree?
He is a vehicle used to get ratings for ABC , pure and simple.
I agree that he gets a pretty good deal for the most part.
In the heat of battle emotions get tested, I remember Jordan changing plays back in his Day, The 'Shot' against the Cavs in 89 a classic example.
Have to question Stein's motivation besides clicks on this one.
windhorst said the same thing , I don't think Stein is making this up
i dont understand how anyone would think Stein is making this up anyway. Lebrons been making subtle jabs at Blatts control over the team in the media all season long.
So quick qestion, where are the receipts?? better yet where are the video clips. I mean media have been telling u that Lebron and Blatt have been feuding all season right?Lebron has been treating blatt like crap no? So where are the video clips of this happening. There are cameras every not just TV cameras but ppls fones. You mean to tell me for a full season we cant get one legit video clip?
We have clips of Rondo's issue with RC
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mO48ds7q0U
We have clips of RW silliness
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcS8lXN5A5o
Meanwhile CAvs/Lebron have been under the microscope the whole season and there still isnt a single clip of Lebrons so called unbecoming behaviour towards Blatt.OK
By the way the fact that Stein uses Windhorst as a source of info for Lebron invalidates his whole article

I’m just giving you my feel right now and my feel is that (Kyrie’s) not crazy about [signing the full max extension] unless he gets everything checked off across the board.
And the other thing is: if the Cavs ever dream of having LeBron, it’s not going to be with Kyrie there. LeBron and Kyrie have drifted apart in the last few years, even to the point that if the Cavs wanted to get LeBron they would maybe trade Kyrie for someone who would fit better with LeBron. And I’m not making that up. That line of thinking was not originated by me. That’s just the truth.
I guess it amazes me how Journalists can spew such drivel for years and still be considered legit sources of inside info
are you serious?? Lebron has said himself in interviews that Blatt would draw up a play and Lebron would just veto it right in the huddle and say no we're not doing that.
heres some video evidence coming straight from Lebrons mouth

If this is your proof of Lebron treating Blatt like crap then you most def have not been watching the NBA for long or just not very well learned with the dynamics of the game. This has gone on for decades in the League esp with superstars in the heat of the moment situation. Plus this is one play I mean seriously.
This is the exact same story about Lebron apparently changing plays on the floor. All points guard do this and there really isnt anything peculiar about it. Again media just pull stories out of their ass, stick Lebron on it and it spreads like wild fire.
Lebron offers this information up on his own, the media doesnt put him in a postition to give this information so they can run with it. He clearly likes everyone knowing he has complete control. Watch the clip dude, in the interview, he says coach drew up a play, and I nixed it, then he clearly smiles.
No ones saying stars havent called their own plays before. But please, PLEASE find me a clip of a player openly undressing his coach like this on his own.
It's common knowledge that Peyton Manning has been calling his own plays for years, but please find me an interview with Peyton where theyre talking about some ingame decision and he makes comments like these. The reason people make this into a big deal isnt bc of some axe to grind with Lebron, it's because its really disrespectful.
and the fact that you compare something like this to being familiar with dynamics of the game is absolutely HILARIOUS
