If you guys haven't checked out this kid I would take a look at him. The great part about Gudaitis is that we could package up both our first round picks to trade up then grab him in the 2nd round at 33. He's a very athletic big. He can protect the rim very well and is a very tough 1 on 1 defender on the block which is something we don't have. He has a nice jumpshot so he can play some pick and pop. A lot of qualities to like about him besides the fact that he is within the range of our 2nd round pick and we can draft and stash him.

I honestly wouldn't be opposed to drafting him at 28 if we end up keeping the pick because there are few other options that truly fit what we are doing.

He's not your atypical Euro prospect.

- Excellent physical tools. Very athletic and mobile for his size @ 6'10" 253lbs
- Elite Rim Protector 2.7 blocks per 40
- Developing post game. Has a hook shot in his arsenal
- High flyer and energy guy

Yeah .  Mitch Mcgary comparison is decent. But this guy is more explosive and also can block shots. 

Unlike Mcgary though, AG is considered one of the worse passers in the entire draft

You can't have it all, can you? He's weaknesses seems correctable though. Weak defensive fundamentals and overaggressive at times. Doesn't have a great feel for the game and is not a willing a passer. But I think experience can fix some of those given the fact that he only started playing at age 14. Picking him @ 28 or 33 and stashing him overseas seems to be a plausible option.

His size, quickness, explosiveness is an interesting package. But otherwise i'm not sure.  Mix between Mcgary and Valenciunas .  Size , nimble , work ethic like Mcgary,  good athlete, rebounding , shot blocking skills like valenciunas but also has low iq /poor feel for game like Valenciunas. 

I'm on the fench to grab him at 45.  I rather draft Connaughton

Let me tell you about LKL competition.

3rd place went to Juventus. Juventus plays in Utena Lithuania. Utena has about 35,000 people in it. Arturas' team ...probably their most famous American player historically would either be Ed Cota or Sonny Weems.

Get Arturas into the NBDL and things will change for him very quickly. He won't seem so big or so fast.
