K.O. would shock the heck out of me.
I think your safe in that regard, unless they have a Jay and Bob lookalike all star game.
I looked up some stats for a selected group of "scoring bigs." I wanted to see how their numbers stacked up to Kelly Olynyk's for their first two years in the league. Most of the players I looked at have been all stars, many multiple time all stars. I threw in a couple who have yet to make an all star team, but are good young scoring bigs (Greg Monroe, Nikola Vucevic), and a couple who have never been all stars and probably won't be, but who Kelly has been compared to quite a bit (Luis Scola, Ryan Anderson).
Points Per Game, first two seasons:
Brook Lopez, 15.9

Greg Monroe, 12.1
Luis Scola, 11.5
Nikola Vucevic, 10.1
Kelly Olynyk, 9.4David Lee, 7.7
Ryan Anderson, 7.6
Paul Milsap, 7.4
David West, 4.5
Points Per 36 Minutes, first two seasons (Player's age, first NBA season):
Lamarcus Aldridge, 17.1 (21)
Brook Lopez, 17.0 (20)

Kelly Olynyk, 16.1 (22)
Ryan Anderson, 15.8 (20)
Luis Scola, 15.1 (27)
Greg Monroe, 14.8 (20)
Chris Bosh, 14.5 (19)
Marc Gasol, 14.3 (24)
Nikola Vucevic, 13.8 (21)
Paul Milsap, 13.8 (21)
David Lee, 12.2 (22)
David West, 11.1 (23)
Playoff Appearances, first two seasons:
Paul Milsap, 2
Luis Scola, 2
David West, 1
Ryan Anderson, 1
Kelly Olynyk, 1
The Rest, 0
My conclusion is that while multiple all star games, or even a single all star game, is far from a foregone conclusion for Kelly Olynyk's future, he certainly looks to have a good future as a scoring big in this league.
I predict that he will end up having at least two seasons scoring eighteen or more points per game and make at least one all star game.
Finally, I don't know that these numbers prove anything or have any real statistical merit, but it was fun to look up for comparison to some other proven scoring bigs around the league and see how our Kelly stacked up in his first couple of years.
