Everything that i've seen and heard about this guy leads me to believe that he can be a man made star aka Jimmy Butler, Kawahi Leonard. Everything about his game other than shot creation and 3 point range is there, and these are the most teachable skills a pro can obtain, the only question is does Boston management and the fans have the patience to let him develop? Kawahi 3p% was in the .200 range coming out of College, but with the right work ethic and coaching he has progressed massively and I can see the same fire in Hollis-Jefferson, along with wingspan, high I.Q, broad shoulders and athleticism.

He can't shoot or create like you said. He is like a josh smith lite. His teammate at Arizona Stanley Johnson is going to be the steal of the draft if he is picked any lower than #7 or 8. The kid has the complete all around game, he just needs to develop more.

If we keep 16, I would be legitimately happy with RHJ as our pick. Obviously he needs to work on his shooting, but he would have an immediate effect and would fit in well with the culture that is being created in Boston right now. If Crowder leaves, the choice becomes even more obvious in my opinion.

But, it seems likely that we are going to make a deal using at least the 16 - if we can use 28, 33, and/or 45 to move up into the low 20s, we should still have the opportunity to grab him - which would be even more awesome.

I would be all about bringing both of them in. I didn't like Johnson before, but he seems sneakily better than a lot of people give him credit for. He also seems to have pretty decent measurables so that's always a bonus.

Also, we will need to sort out our wing rotation -  Love and Aldridge are obviously already signing here so our big man rotation will be set  ;)

Justin Anderson reportedly dominated the workout that RHJ was in with the Cs.

Think I'd rather have Anderson. He has the athleticism and defensive-mindedness of RHJ, but he can also shoot...and works at it.

I really like Rondae. Reminds me A LOT of Kidd-Gilchrist.

However, he's a poor fit for this Celtics team. I'd still strongly consider him at #16 though.

(Sounds conflicting, i know)

Dean on Draft is a really unique blog with great insights grounded in statistics. He has RHJ as the 8th overall prospect:

"On the other hand, I do have loads of faith in Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. He is the Marcus Smart of this draft who is a defensive stud and the type of player who will find ways to help his team win games.
