The fact that people here think there's even a 1% possibility that Rondo comes back is laughable.  It blows my mind that people are still holding out hope that he comes back.

Why would you want him back?  He's got no jump shot, shoots 40% from the free throw line, shows no interest in improving his shot, plays half-ass defense, isn't coachable, and as we saw with Dallas, if things don't go his way, HE QUITS.  The Mavericks actually had to make up an injury for him just to keep him away.  His own teammates voted to not give him a playoff share.

I don't even care about this anymore. He was bad fit in Dallas, i'm blaming him too (but not just him). He never had any type of problems like that in Boston and simply, i don't think what he's done as a player or most importantly, as a teammate. That is a very interesting question.  Did Rondo quit on the Mavs or did Carlisle "fire" Rondo?   I am not sure which is worse when the question is should the Celtics bring Rondo back.

I hope Rondo gets his head on straight and finds a team that he can help and play well for, even if it is the Lakers.  I just don't want Rondo back on the Celtics.

I don't hate Rondo...I don't like his game as an NBA point guard. I don't want him back on this Celtic team under any circumstances.
Right now his game is way too predictable and narrow. He's a one trick pony. And he has an acidic personality. He's not right for many teams.
