I am so glad danny is stockpiling worthless picks

Lol. And true.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

  • GOT IT!!!
C's are going to have all this cap space and another team full of role players again next season.

The trade rumors are a joke. Nobody is going to make a trade.

This reminds me of the early 90s when everyone was frantically collecting comic books and there was this perceived value of all these holographic covers... and then people tried to sell the comicbooks and realized they were worthless.   Danny's collected this stockpile of "assets"... and now he's learning that nobody wants them.  They are only worth what someone will pay for them... and nobody wants them.

Free agency is our only hope.
To be fair Danny is the buyer here, not the seller. If he called the Hornets and asked what they wanted for the 9 pick and they said Marcus Smart it would have been perfectly legit for him to start laughing uncontrollably and say "No really though".

Patience my friend.

Those 3 upcoming Brooklyn picks are gold. No need to trade them now, unless a star were coming back.

Yeah. People are going to be celebrating when the Celtics are in the playoffs but have high lottery picks every year.

Nothing more nauseating than listening to the pro-tanking brigade whining about not getting their binkie

Yeah, Portis is pretty nasty. I'd be happy with him or Rashad Vaughn, who I think is better than Devin Booker.

I genuinely don't think the Brooklyn picks will be all that hot.  12-17 most likely.   I'm not banking my franchise's future on the idea that a team has made the playoffs two years in a row is going to end up at the bottom.

Somehow I just know Larry Legend is thinking "hey, that's not a bad offer..."

If Payne is there do we take him?

Yes. Smart is not a PG

I figure Philly needs a PG we could hope and pray they would take one of ours and all our other picks for one of their bigs.

Come on, Oubre! Anyone else and I'm fairly upset with this draft.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.
