Yup I agree. Good gets in that range. Mickey gets to develop next year
while McCollough does a year of rehab....icing on the cake would be Dekker at 16 and Jaiteh at 45.
If Portis is the pick at 16 then just one of Mickey/McCollough would make sense. And it would definitely be goodbye to one of Sully and Olynyck, though not immediately, until the new guys are up to speed (unless Bass is resigned.) In that scenario KO should probably be the one who stays with the Celtics as a backup center...
Zeller, KO, Jaiteh (etc)
Portis, KO, Mickey (good defense and rim protection at PF and a third string center shot blocker
who
can fight Kelly for the main backup center spot down the road. Mickey works his
way into primary backup PF)
Bass or Sully kept to hold down the fort then traded to a contender or for future picks.
Or Dekker at 16 (unlikely)
IT, Turner
Smart, Bradley, Turner, Young
Dekker, Crowder, Turner Young
Bass, Mickey, McCollough
Zeller, KO, Jaiteh
Turner kept until Dekker has clearly panned out. Sully and Turner traded to a bottom feeder (Western lottery team) for a 2016 first rounder and X.
Bass expendable if KO is having a nice year and Mickey Jaiteh are ready for minutes...Crowder also available at PF, and even Dekker in small ball, so I picture Bass finally getting traded to that contender tat the deadline...
Anyhow, good gets at 28 and 33 imo.
