Looking to hear some guesses as to what the three combined picks could net us. Could we get to the 18th pick with that package. I do think there is something really nice available from the 17 to 23 range. And we don't need to bring in four rookies, that's for sure.

Low 20s, I think.  The 45th pick has very little value (that sort of pick is typically worth cash considerations).

Late 1st + Early 2nd is good enough to move you up 5 or 6 spots, I'd think.

If we were combining three picks into one, I'd rather see $16 included in that, so the C's could get a decent lottery pick--and then also a second-round flyer.

Like Pho says, this is basically a two-for-one - that 45th pick isn't worth much at all.

And, that 28th pick is no prize either given how late it is and the salary commitment. I'd venture that the 33rd pick is worth as much as the 28th due to the flexibility you have in the 2nd round with Euros, etc.

So no, I'd be surprised if such a package moved us anywhere worth going. Better to gamble on two guys in that region of the draft, which is pretty "talent-flat," than to gamble on only one.

Isn't the #45 going to CLE as part of the Zeller trade?

I think that trade had the pick protected top-55, so it's still ours
I'm bitter.

Do you think the Lakers could trade #27, #34 and a future 2nd for a pick in the top 20?... say for example, Boston's #16?
