I am so aroused at the possibility it's probably not  decent for me to be in the company of others.
It might not even be true, and I'm not sure it means anything if it is.

However, it could mean that he is considering Boston as a potential option and wanted to check out the city. Or he could be seeing a specialist for a follow up after his surgery in Boston.

Apparently LaMarcus Aldridge was in town and spotted at Flemmings Steak house near the common last night.
... and Rondo shake his hand?
Just because Love did not end up in Boston does not make that trip/meeting irrelevant.

It meant that either a) Love likes the city of Boston and enjoys visiting or b) he was genuinely interested in the city as a potential landing spot, or c) he has close friends/family there.

Now I never heard that Love refused to come to Boston. Our package, I assume was just not good enough.

What we do know is that Boston was one of probably 5 feasible locations for KLove last offseason, and he decided to visit the city and meet our "star" pg.

The next offseason, Boston is one of 7(complete guess) teams with the max cap space to pursue Aldridge in FA, and Aldridge visits the city.

Now this means either Boston is a much better destination than this blog gives it credit for, or these guys are legitimately considering Boston as a good landing spot.

We treat Boston like its North Dakota sometimes on this blog. It is a great city, and the haters cant have it both ways here. Are we a destination town or is Aldridge interested. Make up your minds.

Thank you for clarifying.

I think some people have this misconception that Love chose "NOT" to come to Boston last year when in reality Flip Saunders was being an as*** and chose not to trade Love to the Celts because he was under contract to Minnesota.

BIG, BIG difference.

As for Aldridge, this has me really excited. If this is true, I interpret this as Aldridge considering Boston as a destination and chose to check out the city.

At the very least, Boston is a consideration for him which I think is awesome!!

Yeah, pretty exciting.

In my eyes, I think Aldridge is a franchise changer.

Not saying he singlehandedly equals banner 18 but a talent like him would make SUCH a HUGE difference on our team.

That said, I'll try not get my hopes up too much.

Saunders wasn't being an A** he was doing his job.  He thought that the Cavs package was better and held out for the better deal to improve his team.

I know that any player can visit any city that they want (like Love did) but if he came to Boston based on any direct or indirect contact with the Celtics where some mutual interest was expressed, isn't that tampering?

Love is a little different as I think he did it to force the trade issue with Minni more than as a potential FA but it certainly blurs the tampering line as well.

I know a lot of this kind of thing goes on in the NBA that often is the result of players on different teams talking, but I think the Celtics need to be careful (if in fact they have been in any way sending messages to Aldridge).

Isaiah Thomas could talk to LMA all day and the NBA couldn't do anything about tampering. It's aldo possible, if he was in town, that his agent gave him the idea because Boston is a legitimate place for two major free agents, including his buddy Wes. There's also a young, moderately established core here to put around him. And it's the east. So there's that.

It is only tampering if one of the other teams files a complaint to the league office.

Hypothetically, what do we do with Bradley if we sign Matthews, too? Trade him to Utah for 12 and Hood and get Turner? How far would a lineup of Smart, Matthews, E Turner, Aldridge, and M Turner get us? Better yet, what if we combined 12 and 16 to jump up far enough for WCS? How far would a lineup of Smart, Matthews, E Turner, Aldridge, and WCS get us?

I would keep AB instead of Turner

I think Matthews is tough enough to guard 3's. So AB and Matthews could play next to each other imo. Also Matthews might not be 100% right away so bringing him off the bench until he's ready would allow time for AB and Wes.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

And neither of them are Evan Turner.

You think at 6'5" he's big enough to guard the Lebrons and KDs of the world?

You don't play those guys every night. He could start at the 3 then move to the 2 after the first sub.

I personally would start all 3 of them but only play the 3 of them together for about 10-20 minutes a game. I think it could work.

Evan Turner and Wes Matthews are pretty much the same size and Turner played mostly 3 for us.

Turner has 2 inches on Matthews at 6'7"

Espn has Turner at 6'7 and Matthews at 6'6 but weighing the same.
