Has every other NBA coach LeBron's ever had been neutered?
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

The bigger question is, why the hell did Blatt draw up the play with Lebron on the inbound and not receiving the ball?  That is the question people should be asking.

He might have wanted to make sure they could actually inbound the ball.

Was Norman Dale completely neutered as a first year coach?

;)

I missed the part in that clip where jimmy talked to the media and said coach had some other play drawn up but I squashed it.

Also in that clip they visibly show all the other players disappointed with the decision.  If Lebron had said, coach had a good play drawn up but we went with me creating something in ISO bc the team felt like that gave us the best chance to win, that makes a big difference in my mind.

Perhaps I'm splitting hairs but I think there's a big difference in the two circumstances

Blatt is a part of their bench as far as I'm concerned. He isn't drawing up any game winning/altering plays, he clearly got outcoached here in Boston against Stevens. But when you have that talent on your team, I guess all you really need to do is nod your head in agreement with LeBron.

Say what you will about Spo (and go for it, I have no problem with piling onto Miami) but by all accounts he was the guy who devised and got James to buy into the idea of rolling over to the 4 for extended periods of time (having Battier to guard power forwards while playing the 3 on offense definitely helped there). Miami doesn't win their two titles if LeBron sticks to his preferred way of playing: on the wing.

Really doesn't matter who the coach is when the messiah can get to the basket with 4 push-offs....And his team can get a free timeout to draw up a play.  Obviously...There had to be immediate payback for that offensive foul called on the messiah.

Apparently Moe, Larry, and Curly in the broadcast table........When they were whining for the messiah to get free throws on that last possession.....Didn't notice.  Neither did the 3 in the Cavs uniforms portraying officials.

NBA head coach :: LeBron

NFL head coach :: Peyton

In other words, let's not act like he's playing a particularly active role regardless.

James was clearly fouled by Noah.  It should have been called.

The messiah clearly pushed Butler off 4 different times before he was within 10 feet of Noah.  The two most egregious before he was close to the elbow.  That should've been called.  Should've been Chicago's ball.   Was obvious in regular speed.....Or replay.

LeBron is a premadona, and Blatt is in a tough spot, Cavs are owned by LeBron and whatever he says is gold. he is responsible for bringing his worthless buddies from the Heat (Jones and Miller) instead of letting the GM bring capable bench players.

Maybe it would have been better getting a player like Rondo who would come in, **** about his role on the team, poison the minds of the other players, destroy team chemistry and quit on the team in the middle of the PO huh???

JJ and MM are glue guys/locker room favourites. They help build chemistry, hold every one together and show the younger dudes (Kyrie, Tristan e.t.c) how to be professionals. You clearly have no idea what you talking about if you think those guys are worthless. Besides they both getting paid the minimum and JJ has actually contributed to the CAVS on court success this season.

Blatt Is a good coach but there’s nothing he can do in the situation he is in. if he put LeBron in his place, LeBron is either gone next year or most likely forces Cavs to get a new coach.

Man I dislike LeBron.

So if am scoring some of the hypocrisy in this board:

Lebron doesnt take the last shot = HE is scared of the moment. He has no clutch gene. MJ would have demanded the ball. PP would done so too. Same with Bird ::) ::)

We also get to hear Sports segments like this 24/7

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dLKr6ynpMw

Lebron actually demands the ball = Lebron is undermining  his coach. WHo does he think he is??? What a prima-donna ::) ::)

I think your hatred for Lebron might have a little linked to your hatred for yourself ;)

This free time thing being spouted is hilarious to me. Its been happening for yrs but ppl only get up in arms when it somehow benefits Lebron. Besides correctt me if am worng but didnt Bulls have a free TO as well to draw up a stop??? IN fact Bulls actually used the TO to get Taj Gibson (a defender) into the game to disrupt the passing lanes. But of course Lebron and Cavs were def the only ones that benefitted from the TO ::) ::)

Let's get real. LeBron is the head coach in this team. LeBron is also the starting forward and captain in this team. David Blatt is riding the coattails.
